The cheek is actually supposed to be rounder, it's just jutting in when she leans in. The stray black pixels are rotation artifacts, I'm going to touch up the details once the general silhouettes are finalized.

Yeah, an extra frame would probably help. The ponytail thing (seriously, what do I call that) was originally angled lower but it looked, erm...
inappropriate. It would probably help if it had more visible weight to it, less of a wave/wobble and closer to the ground.
I also realized what makes it look like she's twisting when she leans back, it's the collar. And the reason the shorts look like they're rotating is because the pant legs don't arc with the perspective for those three frames.
