I know at least one half of one of you guys will be interested in the music from Serenata. So, I decided to find it.

Apparently, the game only uses songs off that user's youtube channel.

For the traverse game, did you try pressing left and right at the same time? How about clicking off screen?

Turns out it was the mouse wheel scroll thing button.

I want to break out the old "raocow, you are the worst at video game" thing for this, but to be honest, I like his confusion too much.

Was there a condition like "the title of your game must end by A"?

Normally I would blame him for not looking up the instructions, but there weren't any.
Also raocow doesn't seem to be used at using a mouse for video games, so it's all right I guess.

oh man.. divided i stand.

i'd like to point out for this particular entry that the GMC jam isnt completely restricted by the theme, good games made that dont have the theme in mind can still rank too.

as for this, it looked intresting... but if the little saw blade guy were controlled by your mouse instead of arrow keys it would have been better, and easier as well.

I don't really understand the way raocow plays games. No matter how many times he said "oh I suppose I should to be building solar panels" he never did. I guess he was focusing on making sure his commentary was silly enough?

Well, it's not like he needs to get too terribly good at something he's only playing for like ten minutes for one night. He just needs to demonstrate the concept.

Truth be told, I didn't like tonight's video as much, simply because the commentary wasn't as... deep, I suppose.

Then again, when a game is this tranquil, maybe raocow just achieved such destructive bliss that he didn't really need to say much.

I love the use of the theme here. Even though raocow spent the entire time trying to buy a gun, the game wouldn't let him because it would have shattered the tranquility of his little happy base.

Oh man, Biblical references?

In my raocow video?

Madness.

In all honesty, though, I Dub Thee Able looks like it's good for a short burst of fun, if you can get past the wonky collision.

Now, it's admittedly been quite some time since I read the whole thing from beginning to end, but I don't seem to recall anyone with the ability to spit tranquilizers in the Bible...

In other news, the awkwardness of using up to jump is an interesting point, considering it tends to be the most natural assumption for such by folks who have never played a video game before. Of course, I also remember thinking as a child that it was odd that the flippers in Kirby's Pinball Land were controlled by left and A instead of A and B--then I played Sonic Spinball for the Game Gear and realized and came to understand that good button assignment has more to do with relative positions than the particular symbol associated with the button in question...

Don't like pressing up for jump? I'll prescribe you 20 mg of Jumper 2.

Considering how much of this involves going against anything that a logical game player would do in order to succeed, and oftentimes destroying the world and everything inside...

I would say that this is pretty much raocow: The Game.

If the comments are anything to be believed, then I think Faultline should be added to the suggestion box, if only because raocow really seemed to like tonight's level.

Looks like we got weather reporter raocow again. Nothing but on and off rain in Winnipeg, I'm jeolous.

Game didn't really look that good though.

Yeah, the youtube comments (for what they're worth) said this game is apparently a rip-off of some other game which name I've already forgotten

This is the game that it's a ripoff of. Just if anyone's curious.

The music that plays in the introduction is from a game called Creeper World.
