Yeah it's pretty much because I have to manually go in and delete their stuff. There's no delete all button (although that's a good idea). That will be taken care of and those music slots will be reopened.

This forum is so fast now. It's deadline time.

Well since my level is nearly finished here is some informations and things I don't use :
-I will not use sublevels 142 and 143.
-I will not use tile 487B to 487F.
-My level is called "The happy lake", it has one exit, the difficulty is "pretty easy" type is "lake: land and water".
-My custom music: type is "happy level", name is "CUSTOM - Frolic" and in the notes, add this link "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfBWZeytC2k" (it's a video if people want to listen the music).

I would like to know if there is any Map/levels left, in what world and everything.

I don't know how to pout custom tiles, object, grpahics yet so il make it (Vanilla?) themed.

i guess that's it.

Alright, so levels are open right? What I got from reading the first post was to make a post like this for a level.
Levels: 007
Sublevels: 042, 043
and Map16 page: 7F
if this isn't needed or expected or this is arbitrary/redundant, I'm sorry...
Also, I am supposed to say what kind of level it is? It's a basic grassland level.

The reason why we want to know 'what kind of level' it is is that it's going to help your level get accepted A LOT if you have some sort of theme going on. Like, focusing on a certain 'thing', a gimmick if you will (gimmicks can totally work using only vanilla stuff + what's already in the baserom)

So, I hear level sign ups have opened again. In this case:

I would like to have:

Level 109
I'll only need one sublevel. I'll take 1FF
Music: I will likely only need one song.

As for ExGFX, I plan on making this a mostly vanilla level. If I wanted to add ExGFX later, I'll provide my own.

And this will be mainly a grassland level.

Fore some reason my zip file is like 800 kbs. why is everyone elses 300? I want to put it on testing but i cant because it is to large. help?

My plan is to make a vertical sky fortress level that is somewhat hard but doesn't go overboard with it. I may claim more ExGFX when I get further into the level but it's good for now.

when i finish the level, if i send it to someone will it be possible for that person to change the graphic? (ExGFX) i think without modifying the level and put a custom music? (Im not really good at doing custom stuff.)

Don't worry, we accept good vanilla level, they DON'T need extra graphics or whatever. WHen you submit for clearing/for real, just say to change the music and someone will pick something that's in the game, or one of the custom tracks that was made.

ExGFX: 135 (I think, unless this is the one being used for the vine cutoff <_< I totally dunno. Fix this if needed?)

Exits: 1
Difficulty: Hard as F@%&.
Other Comments: It's a fortress, first half of the level is all about getting in the fortress, second half is all about the fortress. Layer 2 scrolling lava on the top and bottom a la that one level in SMB3 that had lava on both sides. Outside, the majority of the level involves using fish to cross a lava chasm.

I don't usually watch the videos here, but after what you said...

You are going to have to re-adapt anything that has to do with a glitch, the shell jumping sections, the key jumping sections, and you'll have to make the whole of the first part a lot more 'doable'. Remember that the game is meant to be played without tools!

I guess I sort of missed the deadline, since I don't see my name on the website anymore, but all I needed to do was fix a graphical thing I didn't know how to fix and add in that chest thing. I only missed the deadline because of my own laziness. :oops:
Sorry for not working on it! If someone could explain changing exgraphics so they fade out properly at the goal point, I could finish it, or else somebody could fix it up for me. Thanks!
