I'm fairly close to being done with my level's essential foreground graphics, so...

I still need to make building tiles and all the detail tiles I want... but that can come later I guess.

Random idea, not sure if it's already been suggested or decided on or not (I'm extremely busy and... well, that's a LOT of pages to look through...)

Has there been a graphic decided yet for the so-called "diaper rock?"

If not... how about making it an actual diaper, with safety-pins on the sides and maybe some staining on the bottom? Eew! :lol:

What is the diaper rock? Is that just the thing the diggin' chuck throws? It's basically just an HQ rock right now.

I am officially requesting custom graphics for Charlies that make them look like Groundhogs, but still looking like Charlies (whether that means they still have the helmet or shoulderpads or something is up to whatever you think looks best). I only need the regular Charlies and Pitching Charlies.

A thought came to me.

We are still trying to keep the 'main' graphics fairly original, right?

Isn't the main replacement for the rhino branch of enemies still the kraken from earthbound, though?

I know 'further over there' use them, but I don't know if anyone else uses them too. I'm thinking that we could keep one instance of 'kraken' for the joke, but they should otherwise be something original.

Off the top of my head, one of my levels used them, and keckcellent's level used them.
Honestly, I don't think it matters too much. It's a nice graphic and if we use it, fine. If someone makes a better replacement we can use that. But ultimately, I think, something doesn't HAVE to be made.

I'm having an issue with my Background in the first room only

this

all the other rooms work perfectly but it seems like there's another layer over top this background.

This is the last thing I need to fix, any ideas?

Well then just press the purple poison mushroom and make the BG graphics 1B.
I think it would also work if you just did it from the red poison mushroom.

I think GFX13 has the right sprite and the noteblock is under SP3. So if you aren't using SP3, you can just change it to 13.

Might I suggest doing what we did for ASMT and remap the note block bounce sprite to the space normally used by the coin game coin? That way you'll be able to use it in any level, no matter which sprite tileset it uses.

True story: I just looked at the graphics files and the noteblock sprite is already in the coin game coin slot

Whether or not anything actually points there is another story (or this guy just isn't using the correct base rom)

There is a note block tile in GFX01 for SP2, but I believe the game actually uses the tile in SP3 still.

So....

I got this background image, see. We'd need to convert it into a useable way in lunar magic, but I have no idea how to do that. Would someone be willing to take a lot at the picture and try to tile it, or whatever? See what can be done? Ripped as an exgfx or whatever it requires?
