so for a while I've been cultivating a list of games. they are all the games that I want to lp one day. Some of them are games from my past that I want to relive. Some are games of other pasts, that I always wanted to play. Some are new games, some suggested from friends, from fans, from the talkhaus thread, from patreon. All these games.

There are over 300 entries at this point.

I've been using this list to determine like game votes and whatnot, don't worry about it. What I do want you to worry about is, anything in there that seems particularly exciting ?!



note that the list is extremely designed for me so some game names might not be coherent, sometimes a name entry is meant to represent a series and you won't know, and it's not particularly organised

out of smw hacks, smw gaiden i think would be the most fun. though id still love to see you do cldc 2020 lol. the smw scene keeps growing bigger and there's a lot of hacks out rn that i think 2012 you would've played that 2022 you is maybe too busy for. a plumber for all seasons is also like objectively worth lping and showing off, it's a pretty clear decade worth of effort.

If I gotta give a single one as my vote, it's gonna be the Copy Kitty Hard playthrough.

Given the amount of ideas in that list which I like the look of and want to express interest in, it's perhaps best I shove them all in a collapsible block. So yeah, here's a bunch of 'OH MY GOSH WOW' in the spoiler below.

• Downwell I've heard good things about.
• AHiT Death Wish is gonna be tough to play. I never did beat this myself.
• Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams looked RAD.
• Azure Striker Gunvolt also looks RAD.
• 20XX was a fun play, I enjoyed it. That said, 30XX is still being worked on, and feels like it'd be more suitable for a non-roguelike LP if that's what you'd prefer. If that's the case, might be best to hang on for that? Either way, I do enjoy both.
• Rocket Knight series heck yeah that sounds like a blast
• zelda3/super metroid randomiser - depending on the settings, this has the potential to be either a fun event or a confusing mess and I would watch either hahahaha. I know a guy who can point to a tracker, should you need one suggested.
• Panzer Dragoon is a fantastic series, I particularly loved Orta.
• klonoa could be a good one!
• f-zero gx was fantastic - would you just be doin GP's or Story Mode?
• brawl subspace emissiary implies we'd get to see the raocow smash bros fighting style, and I'm curious!
• freedom planet was great, but given that there's multiple characters with different playstyles, would you do all of those, or just one run?
• Yooka Laylee was good enough to have me 100% it, for whatever that's worth.
• Copy Kitty HARD has been a long time coming.
• Turok could be pretty good!
• serious sam could also be a fun time!
• "normal real bloodstained" - Assuming you mean Ritual of the Night, given that Curse of the Moon was also listed - This is another game I got so into that I 100%ed. A fun ride the whole time.
• melody's escape strikes me as a strange decision given that it's like audiosurf, you put music in and it generates a level. With the bloodthirsty youtube algorithm, are you sure about that?
• jet set radioooooooooooooo!!
• metroid prime is love forever. The first one likes to backseat with map directions after a bit, tho.
• spark the electric jester is one I would like to see!
• mighty switch force is pretty neat!

I think my number 1 has to be Diablo II

I don't think I've ever played a game that has such a strong sense of aesthetic, well, other than Diablo 1 funny enough,
still besides that, there's a reason why people are still addicted to this game two decades later, it's just incredibly fun and satisfying to play

Honorable Mentions:

Trials Evolution - This game would definitely fit in with the raocow™ style, hard but very low iteration time, plus just a fun game in general

LIMBO - Cool visual style, with a mix of relatively simple puzzles and platforming

Banjo - Fun characters and dialogue, a fun 3-D collect-a-thon, and a great OST

Dark Souls - Heheheh, this is a game that would be extremely interesting to see just how you'd approach it,
it's often the victim of being the "Dark Souls" of difficulty if you catch my drift, but there's a lot more to this game than that

Braid - Very fun puzzle game focused on a cool set of concepts also the lore is fucked up

Pepsiman - PEPSI MAAAAAAAN

Chrono Trigger - A game well deserving of its renown, 'nuff said

og DOOM - There's a reason why "DOOM clone" became a common term, also, I think this would be great for a raocow LP

So here's a non-exhaustive list of games that caught my interest:

• A Hat in Time - Death Wish
• Rosenkreuzstilette - Grollschwert, Weißsilber
• SMWC Island
• (best 8 levels of 2020 as decided by the SMBX community) - This honestly sounds like an interesting idea that also has a large community input.
• SMW Remade from Memory
• Azure Striker Gunvolt - The concern is that people have said that this is a score optimization kind of game and the design is much more exploitable if you're just trying to "beat" it. But I think the plot and characters are still work checking out.
• Rhythm Heaven
• Diablo II - So... how is this exactly going to work? There are

  seven

  playable characters, and even one of them will take considerable amount of time. Also, the original release + expansion, or the Resurrected remaster? Resurrected does come with some helpful quality of life improvements.
• Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Subspace Emissary - Again, character choices?
• N+
• Gris
• Pepsiman
• Tobari and the Night of the Curious Moon - Yes please! This is desunoya's main IP and the original story involving Hina's Fluffy Dream characters. The game also has a sequel (recommended) and a nightmare hard version of that sequel (fun for hardcore challenge but not recommended for LP).
• ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights
• Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight
• New Super Mario Bros. - I hope it's the original DS version. I played that and like that a lot.
• Crypt of the Necrodancer
• Devil May Cry
• Mirror's Edge - I prefer Still Alive in this game over that of Portal.
• Cave Story - Just to finally cross it off the more outdated "do not suggest" list in request grab-bag OP.
• CrossCode
• Super Ledgehop: Double Laser
• Rabi-Ribi - Cocoa Mode & Before Next Adventure - So to explain the DLC that came out post-LP: Before Next Adventure (2019) adds a few new SP boss fights, along with some nice visual additions, like 4(!) alternate costumes for Ribbon. Then, at the start of 2021, it added a whole playable Cocoa mode in Speedrun Mode (has no story but plays quite differently).

It's either my most recent or second-most recent game that is also one of my favourites in recent memory, depending on when Omori (would not recommend for a series, for the record) released (CrossCode is chronologically just behind those two). Gameplay might take some time to get used to, but the game's got so much heart put into it that I can't not recommend it.

You've done a lot of the not Sonics. I've wanted to see you do not Mega Man Zero but with tag and frag play for a while now. The Bloodstained games and Freedom Planet are also up there.

The one that isn't on the list that I'd like to see the most is a sequel to one that is in Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. It's basically another DKC game instead of an attempt at Banjo-Kazooie.
