A little [extremely] late, but.. last year in the middle of a hot hot Canadian July, my friend and I decided to host a BBQ for our friends... a BBQ with a theme >:U





For weeks and weeks myself[Luigi] and my friend[Mario] slaved over cardboard and craft paint..




creating one by one, cardboard cutouts of some of our favourite mario characters.









oh there's more..

How could we forget themed food??



Every bit of food had a Mario theme to it, along with a custom drawn name card.

Some notable decoration points..


The ghost house! Home to all the boo-ze we were serving [get it???] complete with big boo, and boo circle..

which featured a couple of ASMT boo's C:

And of course, we had a cake. What is a party without a cake?



Granted, nobody but myself and mario understood what it was supposed to be... since SOMEONE [siteadmin/resident creep TLS4] was invited and waited last-minute to let us know he wasn't coming.. >:U

A bunch of stuff unfortunately didn't get many pictures taken.. :C
we were too busy having fun, i guess?

No it's not! It's delicious! Maybe not so much in combination with the chocolate cake(?) but I love my 'drop' as we call it in Dutch.

Man, I'd get stared to death if I had Weegee constantly staring throughout my room.
I mean, you wake up at night, and the first thing you see is that stare... It'd give me a heart attack.

But yeah, all this stuff is just too awesome. Too bad TLS4 couldn't come though.

I'm glad all this nerdiness is appreciated here. Hopefully my friend and I will be doing this again this summer with some extra characters we missed the first time around. [some more koopa kids, hammers bros, torpedo ted, wiggler.. who knowwws]
It was too much fun to only do the one year. :C

Oh! and I forgot.. we also had a pin the tail on the yoshi [which never got played], and a home made ?-block pinata with chocolate coins in it. haha. We also had music from various mario games playing at all times, and a bunch of game rooms with a whole bunch of systems/mario games for playing.
