Do you mainly use pencil? It might be worth it to invest in a cheapo tablet at some point like a Bamboo, since digital art can be pretty fun.
I used to do a bunch of charcoal and pencil drawings but I'm not sure where they are any more

I've considered a tablet, I have a Wacom tablet for my desktop, but it's really hard to translate hand motion from screen to pad and back.

My D&D character got turned into a dinosaur, much to the entertainment of his eventual girlfriend.
