Trying to complete my album

After a few years with my label and in the hope to finish my first Album I got dropped a few weeks ago. What I got from the big boss was 'I wasn't commercial enough'. It was partially my fault since I wasn't being that productive. Anyway long story short I do want to finish something (a mixtape with some known hip hop beats. I got everything: The instrumentals, the lyrics, artwork (Made by raocow himself). So I just got to record it and put it out. Now I got the offer to record in a studio but I dont want to be a burden and dont have the extra cash to give him something (Blame my job for being picky bastards). So is it possible to make something lo-fi with the tools I have?

So in short any sound engineers that could provide me with tips?
