Re: Once a day, I'll draw a creature based off an English pun!
Its a me a tape worm
Yeah, I don't really want to make an introduction for this one. I personally think it kind of looks bad anyway, it looks like a tape snail.
Anyways, I'm going to update the list of things and add it to the OP. That way, it'll all look neat and dandy and such! :D

Re: Pun Creatures - Never say, "Impunsible!" again!
Hey guys, I'm sorry to say this but I'm not gonna be able to make the Seal of Koala Tea for tonight. I feel really tired at the moment, and I don't feel so good because of recent events. I may be able to get it done by tomorrow, but I'm not completely sure. But hey, at least I edited the front page.
Anyways, night y'all. I'll be back tomorrow.

Our new images for yesterday:
The "Pan Cake" and the "Hand Soap"! Thanks to pholtos for suggesting the former.
...I'm going to immediately start off the bat that I don't really like the Pan Cake, its arms were meant to be like the devil egg, but I didn't use transparency properly and so that came out. The pun is pretty hard to get, too. In case you were wondering, the pun is supposed to be that it's angry and criticizing -- in other words, panning. Terribly out of context, I know. But I thought that would have been better than to struggle with making it look either like a frying pan or a saucepan while also looking like a cake at the same time.
Meanwhile, the Hand Soap I'm a bit more proud of. I like the cloudiness of the bubbles, and the way that the hand is shaded. Unfortunately, though, in order to make a hand that good, (in a short amount of time) it was actually a trace job from the master hand in the Smash Bros. games, flipped upside-down.
At any rate, though, it's good that we got two done in one day! And I'm also planning on making ANOTHER one for today, so it may be more like three... ;)
Also, in case you're wondering why neither of these are my avatar, it's because both of them go over the size limit.

Yeah, it's really out of context. "pan" is often used with a matter-of-fact kind of tone; for example, Wikipedia might say "The game known as [title here] was universally panned for its poor use of graphics and sound"FFR wrote:"panning" huh.... never heard that one before... still looks neat, except for the weird arms

Sorry that it's been forever, guys! I'll try to get the next one done today. :(
Hmm, I thought of that one, but at the time I thought it was a decision between that and Horsey Sauce. The latter obviously made it through, but thinking of it again it wouldn't hurt to add it under gardening.arabsalmon wrote:horseradish

Re: Pun Creatures - Never say, "Impunsible!" again!
I've decided I'm not going to do this anymore. At the time, I didn't have much on my plate and thought this would be something fun to do during the summer, but now I have schoolwork to do. As well as that, I'm also working on the MaGLX2 charts, which has been a lot more fun since there's more things which can be done with that. With this, though... pretty much the only thing that animated the process was "hold your patience until it's done," which worked the first few stressful days but didn't last long enough to become habit.
I'll make a new art thread if I ever get interested in drawing stuff, though.
