This was actually a "leftover" commission sorta thing for someone that I finished this morning before actually getting some sleep for once. It's meant to be framed by the collectable card graphic I showed off a long while ago. Unfortunately a bit of the vague pixel magic is lost when it's posted at 2x size, but that's normal. It feels lame sometimes to post things at their native size, but if you've ever looked at like DKC sprites and how hilariously messy they can look at 2x, that's how I feel about my work sometimes :T It feels lose-lose as the artist. Pixel art is silly.

Your bird sprites speak to me. *Insert bird metaphor invoking deep thoughts*

And hard. :I Pixel art is this lost magic to me.

I like that blue bird's antlers and headpiece. His empty eyes speak of troubled times of layulkrsdp typing is hard. No more mind energy left.

Hi Rena

Those look pretty good. I like the effects on the second and third one.

Hi Willhart :( I like the effects too, thank you. It's something you don't really think about when you're starting out in pixel art, and at some point when you get into animating you realize that knowing how to do little effects add a ton of flair and flavor to even boring things. It's kinda really rewarding to learn about.

Today is just more fluffy people fluffy fluffy Eevee fluffy. The portrait art is really lazy on my part, but I was really tired and just wanted to complete her ;~; I'm back into the fantastic land of being awful at hands and hair and this hasn't happened in a long while so I'm kinda just wanting to complete things for the practice's sake rather than letting myself stress over it.

Hey, are there any concrete rules on artistic nudity for talkhaus? No intentions to post anything pornographic, but more often than not I draw (and detail) a nude body before I clothe/armor it and I was just curious if there was a fine line or a thick one about posting things like that. It makes no serious difference, I don't need to post it, but asking is good xD

Because superheroes (and because confusingly large arms and hands)

I wish I did more cuddly cute arts, talkhaus seems to like that more and I never find inspiration for it >_>

NSFW stuff isn't allowed here, almost always.

Anyway I'm still loving your stuff! I like cuddles, but this is pretty awesome! Not really my genre, if that makes sense, but still pretty dang cool! Also, is it just me or does this style look especially… scott-pilgrim-y? Referring especially to the game but IIRC the comics were in this style too

maybe posting a link to it behind a spoiler would be OK
considering rules don't exist

I don't even remember what I was asking that for anymore, haha, but it doesn't really matter so it's okay :( Thanks guys. I don't need to post any light-NSFW anyways.

Not chibi enough for that I think :P I'm not big on the Scott Pilgrim style compared to most people, but any resemblance is coincidence. I rarely do anything in a consistent or intentional style unless I'm working on game assets, these days it's a lot more of "what type of shading does my brain think it can understand today?" and I roll with that, basically.

Not really new work at all, but since my MaFAB was played a while ago, this is the turnip factory background. It looks a lot less impressive outside the game :< I guess since it's only four frames and it's more noticeable out of context. This background tiles perfectly horizontally of course.

OH NO PENCILS

^ The result of me doodling at work. There was a point where I could arguably draw at like a 4/10 skill level. That time is long gone :D

Why are those poor turnips being smashed in that pixel background.
(Also you have really nice pixelwork btw)

Thanks c:

They're um... haven't you played/watched enough video games? The goal of all factories is to indiscriminately crush everything and/or put it on a conveyer >:( Those turnips are doing their duty! *sweats nervously*

More pencil art and this time much less awful ;_; I did this at the start of work today before things picked up and I was really feeling it, so it came out well. PS I am not a traditional artist at all zzz

Probably won't have any pixel art updates for some time, fair warning :1 Time doesn't really permit. Sorry :(

reminds me a lot of my pencil art but not anatomically horrible

this is a really weird question, but how does one get better at drawing breasts? I've always been really horrible at it so I usually just kind of ignore their existence

Keep drawing them :P

No, honestly. I feel no shame saying this, but the more you do them, the more fun you will probably have doing them especially if you're into that cough and if you actively look forward to it, you'll get better at it a lot quicker as you have more reason to :T Her chest here honestly is not that great but I also didn't care that much. From doing too much pixel art I get caught up in the "clothing magically conforms to the shape of breasts" thing sometimes, which is mostly ehh but still at least lets me get a lot of practice in.

More satyrs, also art that looks like a 12-year-old girl just found out she likes crossdressing boys Image /
It's actually mostly part of an in-joke with a friend, but mostly I just draw whatever I "feel like" at work and it's a lot easier to roll with whatever random inspiration you get than to try and force something else, in that type of environment. Like with classroom doodles.

I wouldn't say that being a furry is a problem so much as being sexual when it isn't called for is.

More stuff from today, I had enough time between work calls to do two light sketches + some injokey notes that won't make sense to anyone other than my best friend. More bleh-level art but I'm happy with it :T My only regret is that the skirt is pleated completely flat (I was rushed out the door at work and had to finish when I got home and was already half-asleep) and I wanted to make it look more proper but yeah.

Someone suggest me something to pixel on the weekend and I'll try to make some time :( I want to.

Accidentally violence ;___; Very low-key (and strongly in-character for him) and not something gross like when people go all-out disgusting with vent art, which will never happen for me, but I was not feeling too well yesterday >_> ignore me lol

I might have to retract the request on pixel art for the 1-2 people who asked me though :x My left-click button right now is not working correctly and right now it clicks rapidly if you so much as breathe at it, making navigating really hard :/ It's uncontrollable. I dunno if I can pixel with it doing this, but I'll see what I can do :<

^ Pretending I know what foreshortening is.

Given my mouse button issues I don't think I'll be able to do pixel stuff for a while :< Like I said earlier. I apologize.

The drawings have small turnips in the corners. It's something I have not noticed before.
