Drawing of my recent design obsession (slight body shape warning as this is of vi, not uploading any of the less sfw things I did though)

In retrospect her head didn't turn out quite as I owuldve liked it but overall I think this turned out quite well for not having a reference image

Nice Tiddy
proportion protip I learned from my first year of a high school art class: hands and feet are actually a lot bigger in proportion to the rest of the body than you may think! drawing big hands and feet is both good practice in drawing 'em and also looks more natural

Re: Pikabread does some sketches
jeez guys I draw noticeable breasts on a character that is designed to have noticeable breasts and suddenly it's boob jokes o clock
but yeah that is good advice, thonx
I knew this was gonna be embarassing ;a;
after this I looked at my hands and realized that hands are frickin huge and can never see hands the same nowWolfolotl wrote:proportion protip I learned from my first year of a high school art class: hands and feet are actually a lot bigger in proportion to the rest of the body than you may think! drawing big hands and feet is both good practice in drawing 'em and also looks more natural

regardless, i think its a pretty great start, the posing and construction are great, it's just the scaling and proportions that needs work.
i hate posting 'constructive criticism' because i feel like im crapping on other peoples effort, but i see bloody potential in you and i wanna help (im just bad at it :( )
go go chooples

Re: Pikabread does some sketches
here's a little preview of something I'm working on…
it's probably pretty obvious.
I really like these designs, so after I finish the whole thing and upload it as one picture I'll probably spend a long time fleshing these characters out.

I was wondering why Earth was a smoker but then it hit me
It's pretty clever, hehe
Also Mercury reminds me of a Pokémon Gym leader but I can't tell why

Re: Pikabread does some sketches
Haha, yeah. That was the idea - Earth is like the rebellious teen of the solar system, combined with a misguided/shady young adult in general.Unaniem wrote:I was wondering why Earth was a smoker but then it hit me

people have said that Mercury is reminiscent of a Team Flair grunt and I can see that 1000000%

Re: Pikabread does some sketches
haven't drawn anything since then so here is a thing I made to introduce a doppelgänger character of mine, who was given demon powers in exchange of forever having his soul tied to me
