Baconland is the best locale and it needs to be in every Mario game.

Oooh, nice! Loving these proportions. The shading on the P-balloon and the front, back and lose sprites doesn't appear to be consistent with the others -- the hair on most of the sprites suggests a light source above and in front of Demo but the body on the former and the hair on the latter implies the light source is at the same elevation as Demo. Other than that, though, those sprites are pretty dang cool!

And baconland/chocolate mountains is indeed best locale 2015.

Well that baconland is the desert/mountian tileset. If you want to see the REAL baconland, look at this:
