oh noooo I haven't posted any art

I actually haven't drawn much of anything in the past...season, since I've been busy juggling college work and my day job. I do have a couple of doodly things to share though..I guess!!

This is a silly little doodle where I merged 3 characters from my childhood that I tend to associate myself with into various hybrids of sorts. The characters are Lip, Roll and Toadette. I was bored I guess!




This is a character I designed for a game concept I've been working on in my head. I aimed for something simplistic and a bit childish. I hope I succeeded!

Little doodly drawings and sprites of a bubble-themed character I designed recently. Her name is Bibi. She makes bubbles and can float around in them.

that's all that I feel is worth showing I guess!

I'm out of my fall semester now so I have more time for drawing. I took a (hand drawn) art class this year and there's at least one drawing I'd eventually like to scan and show off here.

In the meantime, this is a WIP of something I've been working on since school ended.

I'm trying to teach myself to efficiently speed doodle, because I'm darn sure I take too long to draw anything that I draw. I drew Peach because I like Peach.

I wasn't planning on coloring this but all of a sudden I felt like coloring so..!! also I need to practice backgrounds anyway

Literally the worst thing ever and also why I struggled with pixel art so much. It's the worst feeling in the world >_> And I wish you way more luck with it. You can do it. My advice is "just do it" and "if you don't like the result, just do it again tomorrow"

I haven't been around the haus much anymore since I've felt severe discomfort and unbelonging amongst the site and community in recent times, but I thought I'd come back around now and see what's been going on.

and alongside that, update my art.

I've been doing a lot of drawings in mspaint recently since it's quick and cozy for me.



Here is one such, a witchsona concept I doodled up for myself. There are a couple different variations as I was experimenting with the design. The scepter has two ends--one is heart shaped and is used for spell casting, the other is pointed and is used for melee combat. I had a lot of fun with it.



I got carried away with a small doodly doodle of peach and ended up drawing all of Peach's air attacks in SSB4. I then took it farther and colored it in all 8 of her palette swaps. I've made it a clickable picture so you can see it in its full size.




Lastly, this is a sketch I've been working on for the occasion of my birthday. I'm putting it on hold so I can work on other stuff now that my birthday's actually here, but I wanted to at least get it out as a sketch first. It's an homage to two old drawings I've done in the past and how my art has progressed over the years.

I guess I'll start being a thing again yeah. Hi.

in the past half year I have drawn Things. not as many Things as I should have, given 6 months is plenty of time, but enough Things to post. I suppose.

In no particular order, here are first various doodly doodles. I still had more Peach left in my system to get out. Oops.





I drew Peach in a suit because my dopey sister asked me to. I should probably listen to my dopey sister more often, she has good ideas.



Afterward I drew a different kind of peach, a character I'm very fond of from the Breath of Fire series (Momo). She's smart and dorky and very cool. Breath of Fire hardly gets any love or fan art or anything so I decided to just doodle my own thing.

(colored) doodles of a random character I created. She's a prickly ice spirit and her name is Freon. She requires 25 hours of sleep per day and if she doesn't get enough she gets really grumpy. She requires slightly less sleep during the winter so she's generally less grumpy then, but she still doesn't smile much. Her breath is far below freezing and she exhales deathly cold air onto people she doesn't like. She also doesn't have any tangible limbs, but she manipulates her sleeves via magic? I dunno she's a ghost. Despite being mean to people she has a soft spot for music, especially classical and opera. She is openly a fangirl of an opera singer named Adara Moses (in the middle of the picture), who may secretly also be a spirit of some kind.

Yeah.



It's my dopey sister. Never been dopier.



A couple of doodles of my witchsona from earlier in a non-witchy outfit. She's kind of my persona all around by now really.




A very quick, scribbly picture of Hong Meiling done in mspaint. I didn't use anything but the pencil tool. It's fun to limit myself sometimes!



And lastly, a collection of other misc doodles, including a roll leaning on a table, a thank you note, a certain talkhaus user i'm fond of, and yet another roll inexplicably.

Doodles aside, here are a couple of full color drawings I've done.



I lied. There is more Peach. But there's also a villager and it's really fuzzy and cute.



A scribbly doodle snowballed into a full colored sketchy thing, with me also experimenting with drawing some simple environments and playing around with perspective.



ummm it's Kapus!! Kapus looks different today. S/he has a thing for plants!



I leave this to interpretation.
