Can't help but wonder if that forum adventure thingy is Ruby Quest-inspired (just judging by the art shown here), but I'm sure there are a million similar things out there already and it probably wouldn't be connected to just one idea. Or something.

Well, close. Yes, there are a lot of similar things out there, "out there" being especially on the MSPA forums, as MSPA started off using viewer suggestions... the forum I post my adventure on, Eagle Time, is basically a tiny split off of the MSPA forum adventure community, so people who don't like homestuck anymore can do their own adventures in a space where nobody's going to reference homestuck in the suggestions constantly. It's nice!

Yeah, I figured MSPA was the more-likely "inspiration"(?), just the aesthetic reminded me of Ruby Quest in particular (kinda).

I havn't really taken teh time to read through that forums adventure but, it's been cool to look at those pictures. It's very nice, and that style is pretty cool too, being black and white and using those sort of basic computer pixel patterns for shading.

Also, sweet goodness, that is an awesome picture of Demo and Catnip.
