Demo peered out the window at the oncoming storm. She watched as the spiraling clouds opened up to a vast, gaping hole and the misty silhouettes of the distant villagers rose into the sky. The earth trembled and lightning flashed across the horizon as the clouds stirred more and more violently. People, fences, lampposts, even entire buildings were uprooted, ripe turnips plucked for the harvest, all launched up into the heavenly abyss with immeasurable force.

"What did you do!?" The cyclops fumed at the shadowy figure in front of her. "WHAT IS THIS!?"

"Incredible, isn't it?" he leaned forward in his desk, cupping his chin in his hands and gazing out wistfully at the carnage. "Try to enjoy this, my dear. You're witnessing the culmination of years of hard work and dedication."

"WHAT IS THIS!?" Demo cried out again over the crackling static that flooded the room. The tremors had become more than she could bear and she fell back against the wall. With great effort, Demo rolled over to the window to squint outside once more; a blinding light erupted from the center of the storm and engulfed the landscape beyond the glass frame, illuminating the room and its’ two occupants.

And then it was as if time itself had clocked out. The rumbling stopped. Everything fell silent, and the light hung at the face of the outside wall. As Demo shakily regained her composure, her uncloaked adversary took the moment to stroke his manly stubble and adjust his radiant glasses.

“I’m delivering us to a better place,” he mused, and then caught himself. “Well, maybe not ‘better’, per say… More interesting. More fun."

“What,” Demo sputtered, still catching her breath, “what do you mean!? What kind of world... Give me a straight answer, BK!”

He simply chuckled and strolled around the room. "I’m taking us to a world steeped in unbridled, inconsequential chaos, one of food-borne heroics and endless romantic strife! It's a world in which dreams shall become reality... a world in which you will usurp a goddess, AND I WILL HOOK UP WITH YOUR SISTER!”

"No!" she howled in anger. "Leave Iris alone!"

BKamakaze stopped pacing and shot the alien a cold, piercing gaze. "Welcome," he said with a smirk, "To Talkhaugotchi Life." And with that, the chaos returned a thousand fold. Demo tumbled to the ground as reality peeled away around her; BKamakaze raised his arms skyward to welcome in the void.

And then all was nothing.
