I made a post on the front of the forum already but didn't realize it was more appropriate to post the art I made here, so I'm relocating it. Sorry for the repetition! Here's my rendition of Demo, Iris and their siblings:

Charlie (the boy) and Lola (the girl) are twins that share a body. Unlike most Raotopians, they have arms, but no legs. They tend to get along with each other, which leads some to believe they share a mind. In truth, they just have a lot of interests in common. Their StarCraft III Username is CharlaGemini, and they main the Tribrids.

Ah, I didn't realize there was already a Damo. I thought I had such a creative name. Maybe Dr. Eggman is a fan of Damo Rosecopter.

Okay, I really didn't want to add to this new wave of cyclops fanchars but... I actually dreamed up some new ones, no lie. Like, I literally dreamed that I was playing a2xt ep 2 and found these guys in a secret room, and they wanted to be the villains but they were too incompetent. Then the dream sidetracked into me being stuck on a bus heading to Santa Cruz and the bus driver couldn't find a parking spot, but whatever. Unfortunately I can't remember most of the new cyclops boys, there were like 8, but I remember these 3.



The alligator one is apparently a cross between the cyclops demons and some other race of space alligator people. The little one with the "trumpet" was named Tosco.

raocow, man, I just love your "Demo's family" character designs like nothing else. They're just so charming!
And also the other 'demon' designs that are popping up now (the ones that aren't making a joke of it, that is).

It has occurred to me that I should REALLY draw Demo and her extended family sometime. Someone remind me to do that.

Just to be clear, I wasn't mocking any of the fan characters here with Damo, though looking back it does seem a lot more mean-spirited than it sounded in my head. It was mostly poking fun at general Mary Sue cliches (and Menshay completely curbstomped me at that, gotta give credit where it's due) with a bunch of silly, stupid stuff mixed in.

The only thing that was really a specific reference was the "Fused with Rainbow Dash" bit, which referred to someone who did a fan engine a while back and made an RD-themed powerup. Well, that and the virus bit (Disgaea 4, briefly considered changing it from Horikawa to alex because of a thing I saw here a while back and can't find a link to anymore). Everything else was just cliches and over-the-top wackyrandom nonsense I pulled out of an unspecified PG-rated orifice.

I just meant that the 'actual' fan-demons are pretty neat and the 'joke' ones are entertaining but obviously not serious... something, now I feel bad because it's my comment that could be taken mean-spiritedly : x It's obvious that "Damo" (both versions, I suppose :v ) are Mary-Sue-parodies (and that Rocky's is just silly nonsense).

Also Ghoulesque's pic is pretty neat too!

eeegh i kinda liked tosco so i doodled them some more, messing with their design as i go. I'd color these doodles, too, but it's nearly 2 AM and my vision is gone.



really I just realized that dreaming about a cyclops demon with a "trumpet" couldn't have been a coincidence. *talking time bros end of level trumpet sound*

so yeah i guess tosco is responsible for the trumpet sound now, as well as all other wind instrument sounds. They have the power of transformation, but it only applies to the trumpet that's attached to their face at all times.
and idk if i like the wings or not. none of the other cyclops demons have wings as far as i know so. shrug

Kitet, I really like your designs! Especially the alligator, since he both fits the style and is quite unique. Have you given him a name yet? I also really like Tosco's design and his instrumental theme. For some reason he's giving me Katamari vibes.

Great Blue Windrunner plus Lucemon plus Raotopian (that's what I call Demo's species) equals this guy.

So, I randomly decided to draw this last night. She's basically a mix between a cyclops, a plague doctor, and a spritzee. She does have legs, but they're hidden under that long robe. I haven't thought of a good name for her yet.

Ah man, I don't have a name for mister alligator... I do remember that in the dream, the alligator race had a name, but all I can remember is that it started with "Gr". So they were like, the "grathalians" or something.

I made a cyclops OC because I was bored

This is Arlytt. He is part Cyclops Demon, part Oni. Ya see that zipper? The insides of his body (and also beneath his loincloth) are nothing more than hammerspace. He is a walking bag of holding. The amount of items he can hold inside of him is infinite, thus if you need to carry something heavy, you can just chuck it inside of him. He isn't slowed down or made tired by the amount of items he's carrying, either. For maximum portability, he can also shrink to around the size of a USB drive. He is a huge bookworm, with a quiet, introverted personality, and is also a huge fan of fantasy and mythology. He really likes onis, ogres and orcs.

He has an orc boyfriend, who's also a leather daddy. His name is Dylan.
