Okay, this is really silly, but I just farted out this idea when I was bored so bear with me...
Introducing the parallel species to ABCDs...

TNEDs! (name still pending; could not generate alphabetical acronym)
AKA Two-armed Nullipedal Eyeless Demons! There face is just a mouth and they have the arms that ABCDs chose legs over.

That lady there is Veto, the TNED counterpart of Demo! And yes, their lack of legs gives them the perk of being master trapeze artists.

i drew demo. a lot. i drew a lot of frames of demo (they're green because green's the most convenient color to use as a "base" color for this game

Green Demo! :iris:

That's awesome! Super Demo Kart should totally be a thing, if it isn't already

is it? I wasn't even aware of Super Cat Planet until recently

Funny story, the topic of making an ASMT series kart racer in Unity after Ep. 2 is done has come up recently on Discord. Whether we actually do is another matter, though either way I want to model Black Plague and some other characters in go karts as much as I wanted to sprite Grandma Generator.

That being said, does anyone know how easy it would be to mod the actual movement and mechanics of SRB2 Kart? My understanding is that it's capable of supporting models for racers so maybe we could use it to prototype the game, or even straight-up build it in the SRB2 engine.

i can get you directly in touch with one of the key members of the srb2kart team, if you'd like! she's pretty approachable and could tell you a lot about whether modding the game would be accessible. it'd only be fitting if srb2kart got substantial mods in the same way the base srb2 game (which already is a massive doom mod) has, too

That would be cool, though we don't want to get too distracted from ep. 2 development at the moment so it probably wouldn't be until we're getting close to finishing A2XT2 if not after the game's release.

That being said, if you or anyone else wants to keep doing ASMT-themed SRB2K stuff in the meantime, don't let us stop you!
