I find it somewhat amusing that spitznagl, the one who organized the demo collection, didn't even have a real demo. His is just a demo bot. I love the outlines on it, though! It's a cool style. Reminds me of Paper Mario, actually.

Also, thank you for the compliments<3. It'd be awesome if everyone posted high resolution versions of their demos over here.

Here's my Demo. It really doesn't seem to fit with the header (Demo's a little too dark), but it looks good elsewhere.

i mean, the thingy up there is the highest resolution i have for my entry but ok

mines the same as the one in the banner
and i feel very out gunned next to everyone else

Mine's a pixel so the header one is the same size as the original
Also you guys shouldn't be so bummed out on your Demos, everyone has different styles and they all look great
Everyone should be proud of their art!

A little doodly doodle I did for raocow during Christmas time. Had completely forgotten about it. Either Demo's really small or that kitty cat is super huge.



I had also done a little wood-burned drawing, but I forgot to take a picture of it before I mailed it to raocow. : (

And that was the day I pretended I could do anything that resembled pixel art. I thought she looked kinda lonely, so I gave her a giant Goopa friend.
But wow do I feel outclassed here.

Don't feel outclassed, that's super cool!

It just needs a bit more fine tuning in the line art if anything.

Thanks! Drawing with a mouse in MS Paint is pretty hard, I suppose.

I do all my art with a mouse and I've known people who have drawn super cool things in MSpaint alone while only using a mouse. I would think it's still a disadvantage when compared to a tablet, but don't let it discourage you!

I would suggest not using MS paint, you should smitch to paint.net or gimp instead.

Also, as Kapus said, the lines need more work. When doing pixel art rather than just drawing the lines like other kinds of art, you should try and do them pixel by pixel so it looks as smooth as possible

Thanks for the advice! I really haven't done anything outside of good ol' pencil on paper, it was just kindof a first stab.

If your paper works are like that but better, I'd love to see them.
