Just wanted to ask a quick question.
In the old A2XT Package, we could use PNG graphics with transparency in place of a gif file and a mask gif file. That doesn't appear to be the case in the recent SMBX2.0 package. Will that be an option?

This definitely is the case and always will be. In beta 3 and earlier, you cannot do this for basegame graphics though, only sprite replacements. As of beta 4 this is no longer the case, and png will be standard everywhere.

Oh thank goodness for that. I was worried I'd have to create whole new mask graphics for everything again.
