Tier X may have changed a little in places...

CHANGELOG:
Episode-wide:
- 3D Objects now change quality when the Visual Fidelity setting changes
- The Visual Fidelity setting now correctly applies on level start, rather than just when its value changes
- The pause menu height now adapts to the number of options displayed

HUB:
- Added judge letters for Tier X stages up to Tier 6
- Added a new stage in Tier X for dying in the main hub
- Reserve items that aren't powerups can no longer be used to cheese death puzzles
- Made the tier 6 death puzzle more consistent
- Improved Tier 7 tiling and NPC behaviour
- Fixed an issue where the powerup blocks in the library wouldn't work
- Fixed the scroll arrow display in the judge menu breaking in the previous patch
- Hearts are now reset to 1 when entering a level with powerup filters enabled
- Collected star coins that have not yet been saved now show up in blue on the quick travel/completion menu
- Removed an unintentional death method in the vault
- Credits now render behind the pause menu and are paused while the game is paused
- The usual typo fixes and layout adjustments

Level-specific:
- Peach is no longer playable in The Grand Ascent Through Time, A Lighthouse and Anger Management
- Made the cannon at the start of Mold Digger more consistent with alternate physics enabled

Looks like I butchered the performance in the hub with this so if you already downloaded this patch please apply these changes:

Is there a list of hub music credits somewhere? I'm curious who made the music for various hub zones, and also curious if my hub music got used or not, but I also don't want to spoil myself by poking through the game just yet.

There's a big ol' episode credits list for the end of things, which includes music credits for each hub tier/area. I don't see anything from you listed so I assume not unless you went by a different username.

For a music credits list by tier # up to what's been encountered in the LP:

Cool, thank you so much! Yeah, looks like my music didn't end up getting used, but that is fine, as it probably didn't really suit any of the zones.
Been loving all the music so far, especially Tier 4.

I've found some more minor hub issues.
First: if you go into the room behind a 75 star (I think) door that gives you a bunch of things to put into your reserve box, Bowser doesn't seem to despawn when you leave, meaning if you leave and reenter the room he won't be there anymore, unless you reenter right away, in which case you can either see him standing somewhere he's not supposed to be or falling through the floor.

Also, 104th has blocks at the start to force you to be Peach, and yet not only can you duck to cycle characters, you can go into the level as any of the main four except Peach.

More changes? Oh gee, oh man!
This patch concerns itself with the usual fixes. It also makes the "Disable Checkpoints" option better.
DOWNLOAD

Episode-wide:
- Checkpoints will now work as expected when enabling and then disabling the "Disable Checkpoints" option
- Expanded the "Disable Checkpoints" option into an enum field with the values "OFF", "ONCE" and "ON", to make it easy to reset checkpoints once

HUB:
- Added an NPC noting the Jump Party situation next to the level.
- Fixed an issue where NPCs might occasionally despawn when a looping section is loaded around the looping area
- Fixed an issue where Bowser leaves
- Some credits-related adjustments and fixes
- Added more flavour to tiers 7 and 9
- The usual typo fixes and layout adjustments

Level-specific:
- Updated the Tier 6 Tier X stage
- Fixed the character filter in Fissure at Violet Falls
- Rewrote the lunadll autocode in Sacrifice Play to lua, to avoid a softlock

I've found even more minor issues.
For some reason if you switch to Klonoa after having been Mega Man a few of Klonoa's graphics get displaced (his tanooki transformation and one of the sprites for when he's ready to fly while moving left were the ones I noticed; I don't know if there's others).

Also, I don't know if this is intentional, but with a leaf or tanooki suit Klonoa can reach flight ready status without holding the run button, and requires significantly less space in order to do so (I was able to reach it just by running back and forth on top of the character switch blocks in the hub).

I dedicate this tiny patch to secondhand embarassment relating to the length indicators.

- Changed the way the stage length indicators work: Instead of using a time estimate from Zatsu's first clear, the time is now a combination of that value, mixed with the estimates of Rameau, Sturg and myself. This hopefully makes them more consistent.
- Reworded the NPCs next to Cityscrape and Mangamario
- The usual typo fixes

Level-specific:
- Lava Laboratory: Reverted the faulty reset door "fix", fixing reset doors in the process
- Let's Clean a Snowglobe: Fixed a bug where occasionally the game could crash

I am getting an error when I lose to the pink guy in the Ninji Peaks minigame. Winning is fine only losing does this.

Bug report:
In My level (Demo's Magical Chase), if you pause the game, then choose Continue from the MAGLX3 pause menu rather hit the pause key again, the music won't pause; hit the pause menu again and you can still move around while in the MAGLX3 pause menu. Clearly my level was not made to work with the MAGLX3 pause menu (sorry)

Also, if Instant Restart is disabled, it kicks me back to the hub after about 1 second for some reason. If it's enabled, the level has to load twice, but then works fine. I'm guessing SMBX gets confused and Immediately thinks I've died, but then figures it out? This one is weird because it works fine if it's loaded through the level editor o_O

EDIT: looks like also if you game over, you get kicked back to the hub even if Instant Restart is enabled because my spaghetti code didn't take that into account. Oops.
