As I see everyone else has also done, I played my level again for the first time since submission, and I noticed a very glaring shortcut that I did not notice at the time. Never before has the phrase "Hindsight is 20/20" been more true.

No, I was under the mistaken assumption that a cheesecake is unbaked. Stil, I hardly call its base a pastry base.
And a tart is definitely baked.

But, but... not getting a deduction means you get a deduction, but if you get a deduction for not getting a deduction, that means you've just got a deduction, which means you no longer qualify for a deduction... which means the deduction is taken away, but then, that means you don't have a deduction anymore...

technically, overconfidence is more than confidence, so the -50 (up from the -30) seems accurate.
I believe you, Horikawa, just got -50 on your post-game level

No, it's -102.
actually, it's -91,05, but I'll let it slide this time.
... at this point, I'm trying to go so far down into the negatives that I loop back into the positives. cos thats how numbers work, right? is it working?

Having more than seven penalties applied to your level is a 10% point reduction.

in the BBC celebrity quiz show,
QI, negative scores are fairly common and it isn't unheard of for a contestant to win but have a negative score.

Not-so-silently hoping that the score works like Who's Line Is It Anyway and your place is determined by rolling a 400-sided die.

In that case, the points don't matter.
