So counting each judge separately, we are about 25.3% through the combined MaGL X2 + MAFAB judging.

Also, Horikawa judged my level! Hopefully you didn't think it sucked too badly :)

Phew I'm glad to see my level on the processed list! Now I can worry less about it somehow completely breaking and losing all of its graphics for no reason or whatever

also glad that this probably isn't mine unless an obvious door was missed

Hoping I didn't think it sucked is -50 points.
So is hoping you thought it sucked +50 points??

Well then I guess I get -80 points for thinking both.

Needs more hype.

Spoliers:
37th place's level author has a vowel in their name!

...yes rankings are decided before all levels are judged that's just how it is.
Edit: It's also funny that I can be wrong about that. What are my odds on being right?

I had a dream last night that raocow played my level and was completely bored by it.

This is not a good omen :(

I would manage 100 pages of hype all by myself if it wouldn't get me banned for spam :D

I'm still thinking about my entry since I was pretty ambitious with it, and I keep feeling like it will fail/has failed horribly. But who knows, maybe I've pulled it off somehow.
It's like how I do my digital art: so much effort, but so unsure about feedback...
But I'm sure raocow will like every level in the end; as far as I've seen, the only case where he actually stated that he was bored was during skyscraper in super meat boy.

...Unreasonable, super frustrating levels may be a different story, however. But even then they usually have some merit and people would just end up godmode-ing it anyway for their sanity's sake.

I've been replaying my level pretty frequently ever since the contest entry. On the first day after the deadline, I was constantly playing it just out of nervous anxiety over the submission. But since then, I've kept it up out of habit. Often when I have a spare minute or two waiting for something else to happen, I'll just boot up SMBX and play until I die or win.

Part of it is this: As someone brand new to both making and playing SMBX, I had no idea how difficult or easy the level was. Playtesters helped a ton with that, of course. But ever since submitting, I've been trying to stress-test the difficulty by playing through the level with a ridiculous set of stipulations. "If I can do it while collecting every X and not touching any Y, as a relative newb, then surely that's proof that withstands any creator-bias I might have." As it turns out, the stipulation I chose made it really hard in unexpected ways, and I ended up re-attempting that challenge for weeks, over and over again.

Anyway, I finally did it just now, and I feel really really great. In fact I'm feeling so great that my guess for my level's contest performance has gone up 10%, purely out of feel-good bias.

I, too, played through my level a good number of times after submitting it for fear of finding some horrible horrible thing I didn't notice before submitting. Though I haven't kept at it, I finally picked it up again today and tried it out. I went until I won rather than until I died since my level is pretty shot. Fortunately it's still pretty good and I like it!

I'm sure it's at least -1 point for every time we've replayed our levels after submitting.

Idk why I didn't think about replaying my own level. I just did it and it's way better than how i remembered it. I found a way to kinda break my level that I had not noticed before but it's like way more work than the normal way so I'm alright with it.

I got a bit scared for a while cause I didn't play the final version of my level and the start was near the end but I redownloaded the version i sent to Horikawa and that one is totally fine.

My hype is almost maximum, I am bursting at the seams.

How many points does this cost me?

None but if you actually burst entirely it costs ALL of the points.

Be careful now!

Has anyone else realized that when you add the MaGLX2 and the Boss Contest together, there are more than 10x the number of entries as the very original MaGL!

I keep forgetting that the A in MAFAB stands for "awesome" and instead keep thinking it's "make a fun-ass boss"

also 100 pages HYPE or something (just wait for the actual LP's thread when we're all yelling about placements!!1!)

I just realized at the pit of my stomach that someone who did not make a troll level is going to manage to get last place, and I can't even imagine what to say to that person. Like the Vanilla Contest 2014's last places were pretty much like "yeah here's three whole levels that weren't very good, now for the quality" and that somehow makes me feel worse about if talkhaus is pretty much 99.9% quality levels and someone still gets last.

I dunno, this contest is so hype that it's hard to imagine anyone really "deserves" last placement ;w; I feel like everyone should be a winner.

I don't think you'll need to worry about this. Apparently there were quite a handful of people who were TRYING to get last. So chances are the last like 5-10 places will just be of those type of levels.
