hmm. i take it a standard SMBX episode would work with no problem on the MAGL X2 kit? because that could become a standard SMBX distro all things considered.

I think I'll be safe. I downloaded my level's music straight from Youtube, lol.
Heh, I pretty much did the same thing as Alice. The vids have been around for at least 4.5 years, so I think they're good.

I'd like to hope it's not THAT bad.

Well, folks were given spell cards to work with, yo.

My custom music bits also came from Youtube, so I guess I'm safe...?

Speaking of which, for those of you that use music from kevin macleod AKA, that one guy that makes ALLL the royalty free music that everyone uses, all of my speed paints with his music in it have been flagged for copyright by some strange third party company. So yeah, be careful of that. IDK If anyone else has been flagged for using his music, but most of the time he is the #1 Royalty free music artist that i find when I look up free music, and I apparently have tons of his music on my USB drive without even knowing that he made it, so there ya go.
Good lord I said some stupid stuff here when I was younger
Image Ver.2.1 now with a balanced fighting system, that lost of fun to play to be honest. You'll notice when playing that Demo has more HP and Strange, as where Iris has more PP and defense, she also grows just a bit faster, but her states grow slower. Also, furba sprites has been finished!

This happens all the time; there's no option on the dispute center to say "The claimant isn't the copyright holder and has no grounds to make this claim".

I literally have a claim on my final Minish Cap video that doesn't list anything about the match.

Thanks! :D Gotta say my boss turned out MAFABulously!

But bringing back the food relationship metaphor I'll have to relate it to Sloppy Joe Pizza.

If it's still food metaphor funtime, my level is rather sour rock candy and my MAFAB is three different colours of food colouring mixed up in a bucket such that it turns a shade of brown-ish that nobody in their right mind would drink.

Pretty sure the one thing in a standard SMBX episode that might not work with the LunaDLL-ified version of SMBX that the MaGL X2 kit uses, is that the SDL audio engine has some slightly different quirks, such as that some music files may need to be resampled to 44100kHz sample rate if they're not already at that sample rate.
Relatively easy to automatically convert, but that's the one barrier from it working out-of-the-box in theory.

There might also be an issue with some characters causing errors on the npc comment fields on the new version.

Well I'm officially half way done.

But Sturg and Quill are still behind. So... We're not really half way done...
This is why you're the MaGL Queen and we all are the subjects.

So that's about 44 levels Horikawa has judged in the past week, which means if she keeps that pace she'd be done in a little over three weeks.
Of course, we still have the other judges and other unpredictable stuff, so I gauge the rest of judging will take like 1-2 more months, ideally 1 more month if everything goes smoothly somehow...
Or perhaps 3-4 months if the rest of the levels are unrestrained as Horikawa has hinted lol

It looks like Sturg has been judging about 3 levels a day on average, which implies over 70 days left until he finishes. That sounds like a long time, but frankly 3 levels every day seems more than reasonable to me, so I think the blame lies entirely on the huge number of levels.

I'm not going to compare the other judges to the frankly insane rate at which Horikawa's plowing through these levels.

I wasn't expecting as much progress. That's really great!

Also my level has been processed! I was getting over all the early MaGL X2 hype but now I'm super excited again.

So the question is how many of the levels are long/decently-sized, and how many are short and quick. That variable would speed up or slow down judging.

Relevant and possibly funny.

I'm excited to see that MaFAB is up on the received level list too (though should I say "Revived Boss List") this whole project thing is getting me TOO excited! I'm doing my best not to make a mess in this forum!

Yes, this actually makes me very happy xD It's exciting to see who the boss makers were.

It also makes me feel like a standout as someone who's never made a boss before, never mind as someone who'd never made a level before this contest either `~` My name feels out of place on that list.

I'm also a first-timer for both contests, and I know there were a bunch of other first-time level makers. Not sure who else is a first-timer on the boss list offhand, but I doubt we're the only ones.

I made my first ever boss in this contest, and my first fully completed level in this contest too (everything else I made before that were experimental levels so that I could get used to the engine) so we seem to be all in the same boat.
