(I also didn't participate or really pay attention to MaGLx last year, so I didn't know when the places were revealed...)

Just kidding, I'm assuming my level wasn't that bad.

After the MAGL, then comes the BADL. (beat a decent level)
Horikawa is now BADL hardened.

I nominate Horikawa Octane for 2015's MVP

Re: MaGL X2 Discussion (Final-Final Count: 272 Entries + 31 Bosses!)
I almost forgot this was a thing until today. Based on that announcement video though, I'm interested in seeing that last fourth of the levels over seeing my (probably low and in that first sixth zone, I rushed my level so hard) ranking. Props also to Horikawa going through those levels. That must have been one hell of a chore. X_X
Because Touhou OCs can in fact exist, sounds fake I know.
I can't change my username but I go by Vali/Claire now (aka call me Vali or Claire at your leisure ^^).
I never update this currently playing section anymore, it's probably an RPG or something.

I have no idea whether or not that misspelling of "Otane" was intentional, but I like it.Wolfolotl wrote:I nominate Horikawa Octane for 2015's MVP

In my defense, I thought it was really funny.Horikawa Otane wrote:Also I wasn't aware hurting your score badly with a pointless second star was so 'in' this year!
Also, are the Helper Tools numbers updated? I'm surprised they're not bigger considering all the LunaLUA and etc. questions that were getting asked in devtime.
Re: MaGL X2 Discussion (Final-Final Count: 272 Entries + 31 Bosses!)
A lot of the Lua questions were from the same few people, and many were for the relay, which isn't counted.nivomi wrote:In my defense, I thought it was really funny.Horikawa Otane wrote:Also I wasn't aware hurting your score badly with a pointless second star was so 'in' this year!

Oh hey, it's the mistake I made last year! Glad to see people repeating the same mistakes. :'DHorikawa Otane wrote:Also I wasn't aware hurting your score badly with a pointless second star was so 'in' this year!

Oh wow so almost all MaFAB entries have been played now except for like 1 broken entry.
Feels like a good sign considering how easy it is to make an overly long or arduous boss.
Also love that the stats for everything are updated now. There's a good amount of lunadll/lua levels (although I thought there would be more as well), and there's a sorta normal distribution for characters.

I suspect the super-short time allotted to creating MaFAB entries, has probably contributed to making bosses that don't take terribly long to test, and thus don't take terribly long to beat.FrozenQuills wrote:Oh wow so almost all MaFAB entries have been played now except for like 1 broken entry.

I'm surprised (in spite of the gimmick that made it more likely than otherwise) the Link percentage is as high as it is in some ways.FrozenQuills wrote:Also love that the stats for everything are updated now. Re: MaGL X2 Discussion (Final-Final Count: 272 Entries + 31 Bosses!)
So I just checked something, and there's a total of 63 uses of the helper resources currently tallied. One quarter of 272 is 68.
Even with the "one quarter" thing being a estimate and it was actually closer to say 50 levels that were amazing, the fact that the helper resources can double up for a single level and the rather high chances that a fair few of levels with helper resources didn't make it into the top quarter... (That was confusing to type and I'm sure to read)
A good number of these most spectacular levels will be vanilla, which means I don't know if I'm more excited for the lu(n)a levels or the vanilla ones!
Words in the english language!

Can't wait to see how well my one day mess of a level placed.
Not well, I suspect. Though that's about what I'd expect

As the days go on, I feel worse and worse about my level. Not bottom 50 worse, but probably lost in the middle shuffle.
Still super excited though! It should be a fun LP.

So, how are the bosses going to be dispersed throughout the hub?

Same here, but moreso because of some errors and my second star not necessarily tacked on, but...part of an idea I regret.RedMageMike wrote:As the days go on, I feel worse and worse about my level. Not bottom 50 worse, but probably lost in the middle shuffle.
By the way, Horikawa, would you be willing to reveal what percentage of levels have two stars?
