[111] What the Hell Jr. -- second attempt

same general idea as the first version except acctually fun to play - at least I think it's pretty fun ?

still haven't done the music. Second half is much shorter and so I don't think it needs a second midpoint.

no need for a powerup filter, but should probably filter yoshi.

I have NO IDEA what kind of difficulty it is, but I can beat it all in one go.

following some feedback that I got, here is a version with slight modifications to 55, but more important a completely overhauled 54. To the point where it might be too easy ? I'm not sure anymore. Have it yo.

yet another revision, tweaked and adjusted with the help of Le Neveu de Rameau

if nobody else chips up I'm gonna consider the level finished!

(minus the music)

Surprisingly reasonable. Sorta disappointed that this won't end hoisting you (I liked your playthrough of Rupture of Reality), but that's for the better.

(all it IMO needs is What The Hell sprite graphics ;) (although I suppose that would involve Koopas being impossible to bounce from, so...)... and of course custom music)

(and perhaps disabling status bar for What The Hell experience, there is already code to do that in some level, so using it for this level would be fairly straightforward)

(the linked track is just a suggestion, although it IMO fits the general flow of a level)

I thought about importing WtH graphics but I feel that 1) it'd be pretty greedy in terms of exgfx requirements and 2) a lot of the graphics are pretty embarassingly bad, haha

Huh.

So, ah, possible problem.

Is it just me or are a lot of the music I used in the original What the Hell just not there anymore? Like I wanted to use the Zombie Ate My Neighbour song, which is BASICALLY the WtH theme really, and also the Greath Baths and the La-Mulana songs except I can't seem to find them in the music archive. WHere they removed in some way ? Is there a way to get them back? Or am I to understand they wouldn't be available in a more 'modern' way to insert music ?

Not really. I mean, it would be about 8 ExGFX files, which sounds alright (about 6KB, I assume with optimizations (removing unused sprite graphics)).

As for music, it may be available at http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28007574/SPC/Mod/Legacy.zip
