I'd say that first part isn't true. He was doing B-side for quite some time during his present job. He stopped because it became too much for him to handle.

What I'm saying is that he could try to bring it back with Patreon, put himself under the additional stress, and see if it is worth upkeeping in the future. If he gets enough support from it, then he could quit his job.

It'd be stressful, but demonstrably doable.

While it says "exclusive", it's just early access to a downloadable version.

The single Patreon I subscribe to doesn't do any exclusive videos, just minor perks that don't lock out non-payers from real content.
