I think that Leet's story could work with some refinement. The problem with it as it stands is that it only works on two or three levels, which simply isn't deep enough for a video game story, since everyone knows that people play games for their stories.

I suggest the following changes, based on my observations of successful indie games:
1. The game is in black-and-white
2. Actual gameplay is reduced to a minimum: it just gets in the way of the social change video games should be trying to achieve
3. In the end, the entire story should be revealed to be a metaphor. I recommend the time-honoured classic of the story actually representing the game designer's failed attempts to forge a relationship with his soulmate (read: a girl who said hi to him once just to be polite).

With these changes we could have a great game on our hands.
