Villlains: Team Genosis
Team Aqua was erased after Archie decided to leave Team Aqua.. 4 Years later a Woman named Systema resurrected it changed it's name into Team Genosis, and also brought Matt and Shelly to join the Team again... while Archie's plan was to create a better world for the Pokes.. Systema's goal is to create and entire new World and erase every single person from the world who stands in her way.

Maxie decided to bring back Team Magma, just to stop Systema. In his eyes her plan is way to murderous. Obviously he plans to change her plans and therefore, he doesn't want you to stop him also.
