Alright here is the list of maps required:
-Introduction map ~Mabel

-Old Talkhaus

-Tyrants Camp ~Mabel

-Natural Causes Mountain Camp ~Kamakaze

-Sea ~TheFinalSentinel

-Contest Centre ~8Flight

-raocow Mansion ~Clamestarebla

-raocow Mansion Basement ~Mabel

-Nearby Plains ~Clamestarebla

-From the entrance to raocow's mansion

-Hell ~Mabel

Here are my personal ideas for the maps, feel free to tell yours!
Way to Smebex:
Terrain hazards like rugged paths and rivers
Old Talkhaus:
Some sort of half-destroyed castle with lots of locked rooms that you have to find the keys of throughout to get some cool gear.
New Talkhaus:
Your average village
The Gazebo:
Some sort of bar, with tables and furnitures and stuff
Tyrants' Camp:
A bunch of tents in the middle of a forest with an open area near the middle
Natural Causes' Mountain Camp:
A mountain with some ruins at the top where the boss would be
Sea:
2 boats, the Yacht of Opinions and the Pure Evil's boat linked together in two spots with both ships equipped with a balista
Contest Centre:
A dark map that consists of scaffolding with the bright scene below (scene should be unaccessible).
raocow's Mansion:
The dining room in the middle, that should be avoided, with corridors all around and maybe some locked closets and rooms.
raocow's Mansion Basement:
Some sort of stone cave with the Hell portal at the top of the screen.
From the Entrance to raocow's Mansion:
For the last to final map, I say we combine the New Talkhaus map with raocow's Mansion and have it super long so that enemies can be spreaded out easily.
Hell:
A "two-part" long map with Demo and Brake in the middle and raocow at the end with your average pointlessly epic stairs leading to him.

Hmm... I might try my hand at a couple of these, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Anyway, gonna draw up some ideas for Old Talkhaus and then The Gazebo after if I can, possibly Contest Center, MAYBE NC Camp... Was looking at The Sea, but I guess 8flight sniped it.

I digress, don't hesitate to do it yourself in case I don't come up with anything, anyone. If you've got something and I don't, wouldn't want it or the time waiting for me to go to waste.

Why does Horikawa's haircolor change all the time?

It's like red in the cutscene and portrait, blue on the map and green in battle.

Also I expected her to look the way she did in maglx.

Or are her graphics just not made yet?

I was just messing around with palettes. The difference between map sprite and battle sprite was the same in the original though. That's how units works and stuff.

I'm drawing blanks on Old Talkhaus. If anyone wants it, they can have it.
I'll see if I can come up with anything for The Sea in its place.
If no one takes Old Talkhaus by the time I finish the other two, I'll take another crack at it; otherwise, it's up for grabs.

Attention, ladies and gentlemen,

For a while now, work concerning map making has been unmonitored, meaning people were free to work when they please in order to not disturb the creation of other talkhaus projects. However, due to the very little amount of progress that has been made on the game as of lately, things could change. Meaning that, if not enough progress is being shown in the following weeks, deadlines will have to be implemented in order to get some work done. If you, per any chance, have decided that you do not wish to make a map anymore, please post about it in this thread or PM/Skype/email/whatever me.

Urgh, I knew this was a bad idea for me to take on from the start. No, I just had to give it a shot anyway. :|

All I ever got done was the concept and a rough sketch with some notes; now I can't even find that.

For what it's worth, I'll upload whatever I got done if I can manage to find where I put it.
