it's fine to make joke levels, but don't forget to make it a fun level and actually funny.

tfw your sprite's garbled graphics before inserting efgfx actually look pretty funny

it looks like a mole with big shoes having a sensual stroll
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

With absolutely no restrictions I tend to think a bit crazy as to what I can do in SMW, but I don't have the ASM skills to back it up, so I guess I'll try and stay vanilla and not ram the deadline like last time.

Now the real question is if I can break away from a line-guide fuzzy and diggin' chuck level and do something interesting for once. This is why I at least like being given a theme I guess.

BTW, has this been crossposted elsewhere?
Want me to post it on SMBX.org?

I am a SMBX player, and I do not know weather to stay at SuperMarioBrosx.org or at talkhaus.raocow.com honestly.

F-first? I wasn't even aware it was coming I just went to rao's channel like I do every day and oops the temptation to post "first" on the video was obscenely tempting but I came and did this more annoying thing instead.

EDIT: omg huge obnoxious images I thought attachments went at the bottom WTF? >:c

Man, I think I might give this a go. It's going to be the jankiest level in the contest, though. Be warned!!!

I'm absolutely garbage at Lunar Magic (like, "not knowing how to use custom anything"-level bad), but I'll try to do something for this since Wine actually runs Lunar Magic for me. Hopefully I don't become too busy like I always seem to end up being, haha~

I'm currently at the point where I want to ask someone/people for help with literally every single little issue like I did with SMBx and obviously this isn't what I want to do because that's annoying, but I really wish graphic swapping/addition was as easy as it is there `~` (At least I figured out how to correctly change and remove old AddMusic tags to make it work with the latest one, samples included, so that's nice.)

So, uh, if this helps anyone:

Tile 1EB is the jankiest thing ever.

It's solid to sprites (but only from the top, and not for Mario) and has no friction.

Wall-triangle Mario can run up it, even though he doesn't see it as solid.

It's just the best tile in the game.

I'm going to throw my hat in for this one, since I've had some ideas that didn't quite fit with previous contests.

Alright. Getting a chance to catch one of these contests and participate! I had a question though:

Am I allowed to use an already existing romhack as my source for making my level? As I have no experience with ASM whatsoever and was only ever able to insert sprites and music back when I messed around with this several years back.

I realize this is probably irrelevant at this point but it would probably be helpful to refer to this contest at MAGLW to distinguish it from MAGLX

since rap cow kept being like 'not MAGLX!!" and everything

Never used any of these programs before. Anyone know if there are any advantages between GPS and Block tool super deluxe?
I really need to be more active here.
