It's always been possible to pass without taking a hit. Stop lying about that.

I mean it's one thing to say 'it's too hard!', it's quite another to say 'it's impossible!'.

Before the update, I've been able to do it without taking a hit only once, and that was with like a billion tries lol. I think it's fine as it is now.

Tested the most recent version. The changes to KingTwelveSixteen's section seem fine; I think at least one power-up would be nice, but at least I can get the key from the saw section without getting hit reliably. (Still not great on the spikes but that feels more like not having the technique down.) And my section is now working the way it's intended to be, provided people get rid of their existing resource folder before unzipping so the Mega Moles aren't replaced.

Although, Mabel's boss seems significantly harder than it used to be. I think it's got a more-sensible but less-forgiving hitbox now. It's nothing excessive, just bringing it up since we're doing last-minute touch-ups.

The simplest option I can see for toning it down is making the grass respawn faster. I set it to 3.5 seconds and things went better, I still died a lot but far fewer of those deaths happened because I was waiting for more ammo.

A power-up before the second phase would also help so there's much less chance of dying before the next checkpoint.

Part of why my boss is so easy is because your grass ammo is never a problem, and I intended it to be that way on purpose. At best/worst (I have no idea what this other fight is like) you could make ammo a bit out of the way, but have a quick respawn time, or simply have a lot of it if you want respawn time to be slow. Waiting around for grass to grow sounds really dreary if the boss is a constant threat.

I'd rather have the hitbox reverted back, I did do it that way on purpose to suit mario's(actually Link's) jump height.

I was going to revert it but I'm not sure what needs to be done, exactly. I tried looking at the version on my Dropbox to see what it was there, but npc-281.txt in that is identical to the one in the latest version. Although my version doesn't have an NPC-280 replacement.

Just tested and everything seemed fine, including the Magician's hitbox. I also did a god mode run of challenge mode to make sure that didn't break anything. Got to Mechdragon's section and got killed because I was trying to be fancy, but I didn't see any issues up to there.

That's the plan, I think the main reason it isn't yet is that keeping it visible can be useful for testing. It should be easy enough for Horikawa to hide it when she's finished.

This is a work of art and this is how I interpret it:

"mah ba nal stage" - that's what it is - banal. Really, other than King's section it's pretty easy.
"ooh rah no whut ing" - you hear that, soldier? No whuting. Don't you dare go whut.
"kor dran gar og sloonch" - an evil incantation to fuel your murderous intent - you'll be killing dozens of things here.
"re bloop ee birds glu pee" - the glu pee of ee birds. You have to rebloop it. This is an order.
"qua beh" - it is a mystery password
