How is this project going? Is anyone still working on this?

There has not been any activity for months as far as I can see.

Woah, didn't see anyone post here.

*ahem*

I've done nothing to start on this project. As it is, most peeps interested in collabs are either working in force on A2XT E2 or Jump 1/2, and the Lua people seem pre-occupied with their own toys and designs. I'm running solo on my own thing in the meantime, and intend to do an update to the original SDS at some point.

I would still love to do SDS2, however now seems like a bad time, made worse by the (apparent) loss of some key players. Also, and perhaps this is my imagination, but the Talkhaus as a work space seems to be diminishing, possibly as a result of burnout. Add in that SDS is a tougher project to get people invested in (stricter requirements on design and limited creativity compared to other projects), and this is currently a dead project. Hopefully not forever, but I have no intention of touching it for probably another year, once other things clear up.

For A2XT at least, a lot of the work is going on in the wiki and skype groups and being crossposted to the subforum.

I can't devote myself fully to this project, but I can set aside a bit of time to whip up a Mario Advance-style character select screen if you'd like. As it is we were thinking of implementing rotating menus in Ep. 2, so two birds, one stone.

One year later, I finally get back to working on this thing. I posted some previous stuff in the thread that inspired me to return to this, but I'mma go ahead and move things back to this thread for now.

The sprites are still WIP, but yeah. I'm not going to do ones for the other three characters, just got the idea of the head tilt and it seemed too cute not to try.

No, that's her actual canon voice now.

Status update: I forget if I've mentioned it anywhere on the forum but at this point I'm pretty much just making a full-on SMB2 devkit.

As usual this is pretty WIP so apologies for weirdness like subspace not being mirrored correctly and enemies showing up in there and stuff.
