So I haven't done much relating to this Mario 64 thing in a while due to the current level importer being terrible and the next one adding a lot of much needed features (shadows, scrolling textures etc.) In the mean time I'm going to work on a series of tutorials so people can get started with the level planning stuff.

I think the game should just follow Mario 64's original "15 7 star courses plus 15 bonus stars" formula as to keep things infinitely simpler. This way we can likely afford for a custom hub area.

I doubt I will be contributing any levels to this game as I think it should remain a "Talkhaus thing" and I've already probably done more than my share. I will be totally open to helping people having problems with their levels though.

Also we're turning this into a love triangle with Lord Puddington. Just saying. :o

Because Touhou OCs can in fact exist, sounds fake I know.

I never update this currently playing section anymore, it's probably an RPG or something.

Whenever raocow comes across the flower thing from Yoshi's Island that you throw enemies into for stars, he calls it the Flesh Lord because of reasons you can probably imagine.

I still want Lord Puddington in the game somewhere. Perhaps as a Bully replacement? Captain Cool or whatever the fuck his name is probably has, if not a separate model, a separate skin somewhere.

I decided to use the Yoshi island texture, it looks a bit weird

I'm unsure whether to remove the horns or not, I think he's funnier with them kept

I'm mildly interested in contributing a level, but two questions:

1. With the low number of editable levels, wouldn't it make more sense to have a group of people do one level? They can each do a path to a star, or something.

2. Does Demo's lack of a hat still cause issues with the Wing Cap, Metal cap, and monkey thieves? If so, is it possible to edit the Demo model so her eye is her 'hat'? Because an eyeball stealing monkey is hilarious to me.
