I have a question to this sort of dead place:

This may open a can of worms or something, but what happened to the sibling themes from Analogue Funk? I heard some drama happened and now they've all been replaced. I missed what happened and there seems to be no information about it anywhere I look. :?:

Doctor Shemp, who is an author of music that was replaced, originally sent them into the game. However, as I heard, after some time, his music was commercialized, and then he was asked to remove his music from the game. (Please, someone correct me if I have said wrong...)

That is wrong Wohl. Shemp was the centre of an argument on the talkhaus and eventually he got angry and demanded all his contributions be removed from the projects. It had nothing to do with things being "commercialised", nor did anyone else ask him to remove things.

He was banned from the Talkhaus, in fact, very deservedly. However, I was under the impression he just did the removed sound effects and not the removed music?

He did say he won't mind leaving already finished projects alone, but the newer versions of Analog Funk removed his music just as a precaution, probably so that they don't get reused.

Bummer. I liked those songs. I can't even seem to find an archive of them. I don't know enough to have opinion on someone's ban, but I feel like I should have saved my old original download of A2XT XD;

I really seem to remember it was someone else who did the music, though, not Shemp...

Well, here is a download of the old version that contains the old songs, if you want it

Biiiiiig download for a game version I won't really play, on my super-slow net. But I'm glad I did. Thanks for the archival work :P

I vaguely recall Shemp posting one or more of those tracks in the old music thread. The in-game music credits specify like, Zach Fankhauser or something, but that was probably just his real name or an alias.

I also still have archives at me:
This, Analogue Funk: http://wohlsoft.ru/docs/Collected/A2MBXT/ (Once I got it, I didn't updated it, but, looks like I did this right, it's now has historical sense)
and more ancient ASMBXT: http://wohlsoft.ru/docs/Collected/ASMBX/
