Did you download the patch to fix the problem with super leeks not displaying on some peoples' computers? If so, did you download the subsequent patch to fix Castle of the World (because apparently the super leek patch broke the beginning of Castle of the World)?

The first pipe in that level is supposed to launch the player like a cannon, so that you land on the visible blocks off to the right.

Aren't you supposed to be launched over the pit?

Huh. Yeah, I saw the patch, and thought I *had* downloaded and installed it, since I *did* install the super leek patch just to be safe... odd.

Edit: I redownloaded the patch and installed it. Now it works. I wonder why it didn't before... weird. But, thanks for the help.

Edit 2: Ahahahahaha. Once I got started with it, that stage was absolutely great. Easily my favorite stage in world 7.
The character switching was a neat touch, the billy gun rampage as raocow in the last segment was ridiculously fun, and the boss was quite possibly the second or third to best thing I've ever seen. I am *so* glad I got this fixed, because that was *absolutely worth it*!

For some reason even with the patch CoTW doesn't launch for me (although running the beta version of the level still does). It's nice though that an invisible floor was put in so it's sort of ok.
The first thing I would do with infinite power would be to make myself a cave where I could look at my shadow forever.

I made a game called Utter Confusion! Play it! :D
It's a lot of fun and has been incredibly popular at every indie game dev party I've brought it to.

When I want to start the level after Giant Egg it gives me a error (No pun intended). Is there a way to fix it??

The first Science fight still has that text that Demo says that doesn't make sense in the story. Also, his shots should be a different color than green which the background is.

What about Demo's text doesn't make sense? She's commenting on Science's hi-res appearance, right? That Nevada just mentioned in the shortly preceding cutscene.

It does not march the tone of the situation if that's the case. She has literally seen Science once before so calling Science "brother" and asking "What happened to you?" doesn't fit at all.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the point of the line then. Who wrote it? I always thought it was you, seeing as how you made that level. Is that not the case?

I found a couple mistakes in the world 7 Leek Sanctuary. The Mishi fight stage is called "Michigan Test" on the map, but listed as "Michigan Tes" in the sanctuary. Also, is the stage listed there by Joseph Staleknight (Curtain Tortoise) has a blank name.

In other news, I'm doing the "normal" half of world 7 now after finishing the secret path...
The world as a whole got off to a rocky start, but since then, it's been great. Bronze Fortress was hard, but fun; Fruitcat Clouds looked really amazing, Curtain Tortoise was a rare Touhou-themed stage I unambiguously *liked*, Blue Sacktice was a silly fun breather level, and the Garish fight was so over the top ridiculous. I cracked up at the pickelhaube beetles.

I though we changed that dialogue to "What has Science done?"

It sounds like the codec is not set right. I don't remember how to fix that right now, but it is fairly common problem. Hopefully someone will explain it soon. I remember it was something about finding the codec control panel and adding the exe to the exceptions list. Most of the time the codec is called ffdshow, but some of it's versions don't have control panel. SAJewers was able to help, when this happened to me and Pholtos.
I looked through the thread and this is exactly the problem I'm having with my sound. Looking in my CCCP settings and around my computer, I don't seem to have ffdshow installed because I guess it has been phased out in favor of a new decoder or something? Are there any instructions for how to fix the lack of certain sounds? I'd rather not just start messing with the associated formats blindly.

I have no idea if this will help or not, but you could try setting CCCP to simply not mess with audio, particularly formats such as MP3, OGG, and WAV, which you probably already have better codecs for elsewhere. I had the same problem as you, and while I can't say for certain doing *that* was what fixed it, I haven't had the issue since doing so.

I managed to get it to work by disabling MP2 and MP3 on LAV's Audio settings (and also MPEG-TS on the LAV Splitter)

That'll be fixed in 1.1.1

Bug in 1.1:
The elevator music doesn't seem to work.
That needs to be fixed quickly since raocow is getting close to it.

Does raocow even have 1.1? Or is he still using 1.0?

OK, V1.1.1 is now out. Mainly fixes a few Leek Pillar mistakes in Town 7, some Cutoff in Town 6, and bug with the Dumbwaiter in the HUB.

Episode 1 - analog funk: Download
Episode 1 Update to v1.1.1: Download

If you didn't update to v1.1, you can still just download the Update to v1.1.1

I never even updated, and everything still seems fine to me.

I don't need to update, since I'm not having problems, right?

just completed the final level of the maingame good game

i have 79 leeks which is most of them from the first 8 worlds but there are some things i skipped over that i will go do

btw does anybody know how to fix, like... smbx's weird lag thing where occasionally it will stop for less than a second and then resume? because it's making Blue Surfer a luck-based mission for me. i could totally do that level but almost every one of my 20~ (+?) demos there has been from the lag thing
Well it is a decent hack but sometime its just too repetitif there no level that actually pop in your face and your like oh yeah that level they all ressemble themselves and just monster along the way.

Disabling the sound will cause any lag to vanish.
