It's because it usually takes a couple hours to upload a full archive, and it's a lot faster to simply upload an archive that just has changes.

Actually I think I figured it out. I hadn't updated the base episode, but had been keeping up on the updates to said episode.

Ok SA, can you please actually go and change the method of disabling the player's controls for my hub thing to holding down instead of up? Because as you can see in pholtos' video - he typed it in in front of me and it caused him to talk to me again... Which totally ruins all the timing to the joke and is really confusing.

I love exploiting strange circumstances in bosses~
Give me around 1.5 hours and it'll be up.

Sturg, when will you have the overworld update available? I'm really concerned that we won't have that update in time to properly test it. I'd feel much better if you could at least give us an ETA on that piece. Thanks.

Hopefully soon. ConS is pretty much done, but I need the OW to
finish it. Plus, there are a few things I want to fix/change, mainly having the intro levels start from a warp.

It was
Garish
I found a really easy way to do that boss.

That way to win Garish might be intented. It's hard to do and does not work as well every time. It's also the way that most testers have beaten it so far.

Agreed. In my experience, Garish is one of those bosses where you either win quickly or you lose quickly. Which I think is fine.

Woah, I've no idea how you died at the end of Calleoca there... That shouldn't be able to happen and I've never once seen it happen before in my or anyone else's testing...
Dangit pholtos! xD How do you do that?

Maybe it's an edge case glitch with the teleporting fireball hurt method it uses? I found the address of the hurt function by the way so you don't have to do that in the future.

Huh. Looks like Intro 8 is missing some level assets. I'll have to fix that.

While you're at it you should remove that clock. It seems to have caused problems and confusion for most people who have played the level since freezing time stops you from progressing.

Well that's convenient. I'll make sure to do that in future. The main thing is I'm not sure if it's worth fixing given how rare it seems to be and I don't know how to reproduce it.

Looks like Pholtos triggered the glitch because, when he grabbed the coin-cat (via jumping), his upwards momentum carried him up into the space that was occupied by the cloud-riding cat.

I made it so you can only get it as demo now.

But the cloud riding cat is literally just a respited coin. It's even a separate entity to the version that hurts you. The one that hurts is teleported away for the final phase and is replaced by the coin. And the coin's hitbox is only the fish, the rest is just normal SMBX npc codes to make the graphic bigger than the hitbox.

You guys are going to have to find yourself a new beta tester or something. I can't beat a level.
and for the curious it's a certain level that becomes somewhat insane with lag added in. OH MAN I DIED!

Twinkle Tower, or Blue Surfer?
Re: A2MBXT beta testing

The latter. One little bit of lag and poof. is typically all it takes.

D: But you're such a good beta tester! And you're so far into the game!
Just cheat through the level if you're getting killed unfairly by lag.
strategyyo = God mode
jumplikesomething = Infinite jump
ishereneedthis = free lives
redigitiscool = save

I'll post what I have in a bit. I didn't actually play for that long, maybe 20 minutes over two levels.
