OK then,

Things we need to/should change:
npc-75 (Jumping Toad) (We have one, but still taking submissions)
npc-205 (Geemer) (We have one, but still taking submissions)
npc-249 (SMB2 Mushroom)
npc-273 (Swap Mushroom. Does nothing except in 2 player mode)
npc-208, effect-111 (Mother Brain Glass)
background-87, effect-55 (SMB Brown Door)
background-104 (SMW Big Red Door)
background-107, effect-59 (SMB3 Door)
background-141, effect-103 (SMW Ghost House Door)

Not sure if we should change these, probably not?:
npc-290 (Airship cockpit.)
block-4 (SMB3 Breakable block)
block-188 (SMB Breakable Block)
block-226 (SMB3 Big Breakable Block)
effect-108 (Metroid destroy effect. used for some Misc enemies)
effect-63 (Zelda destroy effect, used for killing npc-125 and most things Sheath kills)
effect-10 (some smoke effect, can't remember what this is for)
effect-71 (star effect that appears when SMB3 Bomb-omb explodes)
effect-76 (dunno what this is used for)
effect-147 (again, dunno what this is for)
effect-148 (star effect, part of Kood's Bombs)

Perhaps we should rethink the colours based on the top of their heads? That would make Demo blue, Iris green, Kood orange, raocow brown (maybe not a good idea) and Sheath yellow or golden.

I agree with this, since we've only got different shades of green and blue as the color blocks and that just seems a tad boring for me.

I think the door needs more texture to fit in with the rest of the game.
The first thing I would do with infinite power would be to make myself a cave where I could look at my shadow forever.

We can't change the shape of the character switches, so they stay the same. The colours change. The character blocks themselves, however, become octagonal to fit a Stop Sign motif. Their outlines glow so they won't be mistaken for the outlines of the SMW colour blocks.

I actually wanted to make it such that Kood's switch block would have a shell scrolling across it instead of a K, but I wasn't good enough an artist to make it happen. Besides, the available area might be a bit too small for that.

The SMW boss door. The main body of the door is one solid colour, which isn't really a thing we're doing with this graphics style.

Awesome, but that SMB3 Door you posted also has a corresponding effect (effect-59)

Can someone go through the Devkit and make sure all the graphics and masks are correct? I know there are a few effect graphics that use Alpha Transparency instead of Black, and according to demolition (who misposted in the Sounds thread), the backgrounds on the catnip graphics aren't coloured right.

I think they're fine. IMO the bigger question is whether or not to change some of the effects, or any other blocks
