... I forgot it was bad to have pure white/black on SMBX images like that
(I never did figure out why it matters, though...)

Well anyways, if we're gonna be using the red one, then here's an attachment in which there should be no pure white anymore.

OK, I ended up doing this:

Menshay: Could you post a copy of the SNES version of the itembox, that's formatted correctly & ready to insert into the exe?

npc-75 (Jumping Toad) (We have one, but still taking submissions)
npc-205 (Geemer) (We have one, but still taking submissions)
npc-249 (SMB2 Mushroom)
npc-273 (Swap Mushroom. Does nothing except in 2 player mode)
npc-208, effect-111 (Mother Brain Glass)
block-598 (Jelectro)
npc-290 (Airship cockpit. Maybe)

Not sure if we should change these, probably not?:
block-4 (SMB3 Breakable block)
block-188 (SMB Breakable Block)
block-226 (SMB3 Big Breakable Block)
effect-108 (Metroid destroy effect. used for some Misc enemies)
effect-63 (Zelda destroy effect, used for killing npc-125 and most things Sheath kills)
effect-10 (some smoke effect, can't remember what this is for)
effect-71 (star effect that appears when SMB3 Bomb-omb explodes)
effect-76 (dunno what this is used for)
effect-147 (again, dunno what this is for)
effect-148 (star effect, part of Kood's Bombs)
background-87, effect-55 (SMB Brown Door)
background-104 (SMW Big Red Door)
background-107, effect-59 (SMB3 Door)

Not exactly. See this and this on how to change hardcoded graphics. They need to be gif as well, and I need a mask.

As for that Mother Brain Glass replacement, that was submitted to go with a Mother Brain we're not using (since we already have one).

Would've preferred if you kept the naming convention that Extractor.exe used, but that'll do i guess.

EDIT: Sorry, my mistake, it needs to be .bmp. I thought everything was .gif. I'll just convert it.

EDIT: Do we wanna change the look of the Hearts in the HUD For raocow/Kood/Sheath? What about the battle mode stuff, like the attatched? The Font?

stark black is a bit much. A neutral grey is always better, I just don't know if it would look out of place in the game.

If you mean pure black, don't pure black and white mess things up? Unless text boxes work differently to normal graphics.

I like demo's sprite more, she has a higher light to dark contrast.
The first thing I would do with infinite power would be to make myself a cave where I could look at my shadow forever.

I dunno, that Dark blue on Demo almost looks like Black to me (the main reason I posted that, I actually thought that was black).

I would have never noticed that in a million years if you hadn't mentioned it. Although now that you do, I kinda see what you mean. I feel like it's such a minor detail that it shouldn't really matter, but that's just me.
