We can't change Iris's hair and eye color now without completely redoing the EOW6 artwork.

There is in-game artwork made showing Iris with green hair and a purple eye. If we changed her hair and eye color now, that artwork would have to be redone.

It's the style of the hair more than the colour (though I personally prefer the purple hair look, it's obviously a little too late to change it now). The style of Iris' hair has always looked odd to me, too, and I like this one a lot more.

Ah, I thought the only recommendation being offered was to change Iris's colors. I didn't realize the hairstyle itself was different.

I thought mostly to make her stand out? I can dig that, it's just the too strait, zig-zag ended rag hair that seemed ugly.

Many of the cutscenes have Iris as a walking animation or a standing sprite. It would be a lot of work to change the same details for every single instance, since they are not all made by same way. I'm already used to how she looks. The green hair looks better with her clothing and the green eye would look weird. I like the shape of the hair though.

Edit: Nevermind. I won't be making this. The leaf power up is way too difficult to change. There is weird offset going on and the spinjump does not look right.

Ooh. These totally look a lot better. Using these.
EDIT: You want to take a shot at the mouser (npc-262, effect-138)and bully (npc-168, effect-89) replacements? Maybe also effect-108? Any other ones you want to do, go right ahead.

Well, I'm kinda sad: my goal with the snifit replacements was suppose to be a spider with a tank turret on it's back, hence the original name "spider tank".

Of course, I'm fine with the current update it receives now.

Personally, I think somebody should have a go at redoing npc-185. Also, are we sure the various beets are noticeable enough? Most of them only take up about 25% of the available space given for the sprites.

The smaller beets look actually better in my opinion than the SMW ones. They were designed to be used with different tilesets in mind though, so changing them might cause clash. On collectables the hitbox can be more generous since the player can't stand on them.
