Re: Level Submission FAQ/Notes (Download Devkit Here)
I just fixed the music issue people were having in the Devkit. Also, made a slight edit to the SMW POW Door to make it look less like a reset door, and removed the curtain graphic on the titlescreen. Will probably replace that graphic later.

No update download, since I replace all the music.

Re: Level Submission FAQ/Notes (Download Devkit Here)
OK, I updated the devkit to merge in most of the changes from SMBX 1.3.0.1 (viewtopic.php?f=11&t=14445 )
the exe was not changed (so any exe editing they did is not included. I also did not include the two replaced SMB3 sizables, nor the OW graphics (since those are being changed anyway). Sounds were left untouched as well, even though there are still a few defaults (if Doctor Shemp wants incorporate those, he can do that.)

The Base Game archive is now self-extracting, and will auto-install the Visual Studio 2012 Runtime.

Only change between this and Yesterday is inclusion of the Updated exe that I forgot to copy over. If that's all you need: http://www.mediafire.com/download/2vu3v ... a2mbxt.exe

Re: Level Submission FAQ/Notes (Download Devkit Here)
Just wanted to mention that I updated/fixed the OP. I also modified the Infobox template on the wiki (and I explain it in the OP), so it's slightly easier for me to quickly glance at a level and get it's information. If someone wants to help me out in modifying all the level pages, feel free.

Umm, I don't want to be a hassle (being the new member and stuff), but is it still possible to submit levels? If so, is there some kind of deadline?

The submissions for episode 1 closed some time ago, but the other two episodes are still open.

Umm, um, I'm your typical newcomer who's all crazy about A2MBXT and I don't know how to add an already created page to the Submitted Levels section.
If anyone wants to help, then great.
If not... then I shall destroy the level that took me like a 100 hours to create.
(The 100 hours part isn't true. Maybe.)

Try using the 'link' function for text over the level name. Link it to the page about the level.Mystick wrote:Umm, um, I'm your typical newcomer who's all crazy about A2MBXT and I don't know how to add an already created page to the Submitted Levels section.

I think the rule of thumb with Nintendo music is that any game made by Nintendo after and including Mario Galaxy 1 is a YouTube strike possibility.

I made a game called Utter Confusion! Play it! :D
It's a lot of fun and has been incredibly popular at every indie game dev party I've brought it to.

From uploading my Yoshi's Island race, I can tell you that Super Mario Sunshine gets ContentID'd as does the Athletic theme from Yoshi's Island.

Re: Level Submission FAQ/Notes (Download Devkit Here)
It's not technically even started yet since the episode 2 levels are not collected anywhere. There will probably be a submission period later specifically for that episode. The levels that have been sent already need to be approved too. There is still a lot of time to submit levels.PKBeloved wrote:Um, when is the deadline for episode 2 submissions? :)

Sooo, this means that I can't have a normal exit with a leek and a secret exit with a leek, right? One of them has to be something else?SAJewers wrote: WE WILL PROBABLY NOT ACCEPT OUTRIGHT ANY LEVELS THAT CONTAIN OR USE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

Honestly, that seems kinda stupid. Oh well, I suppose I'll have to make my episode 2 level with only 1 leek...
