There are some sprites missing from screen two of EoW1.

Edit: Music in EoW5 does not play for me.

What time if you do stream?

Also with EOW8, the cutscene has to end with a warp to the credits, not an "end the level" warp.

Hope I'm not interrupting conversation here or sticking my head in the wrong place, but I was skimming through the wiki entry for my Out of Season to see how much of a chance there'd be to stick it in Episode 2/3/4, only to spot that it's actually listed as accepted now instead of the previous "Accepted with changes" that I had remembered.

Originally I just got lazy and put off fixing it, since rebalancing the normal part of the level would have required tweaking events and precisely pixel placed ice tiles, now I'm seeing it listed as accepted, but searches bringing up elsewhere stating about changing midpoints, people stating they'd fix it up, changing or replacing the secret exit, the music being too recent(I was thinking of NSMBWii when I used the NSMBU song) and so on.

So, uh... assuming it's not too late for me to do any fixes myself, where nowadays do I look to find what I need to do and what's already been changed by you all to fit standards? I want to try and make up for just abandoning my level in your hands, I had figured you all would just leave it in indefinite unacception till I got off my behind and fixed it for Episode 39.

I forget who it was, but someone basically went and fixed all the major problems the level had (I can't remember what they were now), in an attempt to clear out a bunch of levels in the approved with changes bin that had seemingly abandoned by the level author. If you wait a few days, I'll be releasing an archive with all the levels (once I get the OW and the credits). You can update your level based on that if you want.

Main changes I remember that were done were replacing the music (flagged by ContentID) and moving the midpoint. I think we might have also moved the Gourd. I've forgotten a few things due to the long wait for the cutscenes and the OW.

EDIT: Actually, here's your level as I have it right now: http://www.mediafire.com/download/qcmpi ... fseason.7z

Looking at it, I support most of the changes, loving the use of the plant drill thing in place of what I had! Though, I'm somewhat confused by the midpoint in the sky. I believe I did put it in a silly place before, but now it appears in a normal playthrough you'd never get it unless your normal playthrough took the sky coins area which is more for the coins. Doesn't do much help for retrying the secret exit, though if it's A2MBXT team approved I don't want to mess it up.

Otherwise, I may or may not make a few tweaks on top of your fixes, mainly seeing if I can manage to use the LunaDLL to touch it up or not and a change or two based on the latest devkit sounds. Do I have permission to use the Superb Demo Sisters exit method?

Also, they're indeed called the Booss, that is, the intentionally lame pun of Boo + Boss. Though I'll take a page out of your books and change it to "Booss Trio" now, unless you all would rather I change it to "Boo" if the pun is too stupid.

You're totally obliged to make any changes to your level that you see fit, just make sure to post the new version in the submission thread/on the wiki.

Also, I think it'd be fine to use the SDS exit, but I'd probably ask one of the guys there in charge first just in case.

If the SDS Guys are fine with it, I have no problem.

I believe the main problems left with the levels were that the upper part was pointless and that the Pokey thingies should be graphics swaps of the totem, not a caterpillar.

Any plans on streaming again?

Also Holy: Updated the Cast again. I forgot The Stupid Horse in the Relay level, and undid the "Booss" change, since I forgot that was intentional.

Actually, I believe my problem was that there was no indication that they would hurt if you jumped on them... what with them having flat tops and all. I think that bit was fixed now.

I think I toyed around with editing the sprite and (apparently) decided to leave the SMA2 flat top for... I don't know why, accuracy? Maybe I edited the top and forgot to save it? The edit you all made works better while still keeping it as the SMA2 sprite swap reference, though.

If I remember my original plans, I think I intended for the sky segment to be the path back to the hidden underground under the ice, but the P-Switch ended too early so it kinda lost much of the usefulness over just clearing the backtrack route of enemies and going there.

I'm not sure how much time before A2MBXT Ep1 levels are cemented and done, I could maybe make a fake switch using an edited switch Goomba that lasts longer and make the sky the intended route, or make it feel more like the kind of SMB1 Coin Heaven style sky it was meant to simulate, but if it's generally "acceptable" already with the changes made I'd hate to mess with it only to make it unacceptable or never get my other smaller changes in.

Perhaps the midpoint needs to be moved, as some people are going to miss it entirely. Or at least, they were in its original position. I don't know if it's been moved or not.

Sorry to ask for a third time - but could you please change what my avatar says in the hub again to the following:
Message 1:
Children of the corn! We have a new prime directive! You must find Chompie and get her to do a no damage run of Beam Stack!

Message 2:
And while you're at it, get Pink to do a no midpoints run of this game! Time is of the essence! Go my children! Go!

Message 3:
Also, type in "docopoperiscool" as a cheat for a special surprise!

<20 second delay>

Message 4:
The surprise is that you just wasted twenty seconds thinking I was cool!
The first thing I would do with infinite power would be to make myself a cave where I could look at my shadow forever.

I made a game called Utter Confusion! Play it! :D
It's a lot of fun and has been incredibly popular at every indie game dev party I've brought it to.

Still waiting to hear back about that final level thing.
If it needs to be lengthened I will totally volunteer to do that.

For what I have played, even the shorter sections in that level are rather tedious. They tend to rely on gimmicks that would become less fun with extra lenght. Unless there are a lot of hidden midpoints, you should rather shorten the long sections if you want to improve the balance.

There are hidden midpoints, one per character section.

I requested for some 'final' graphics for the OW from Pheonix and he said he'll be able to work on them on Tuesday.

I'm also considering switching a world or two around to help with the difficulty curve.

I think that would break some of the cutscenes if done in most of the worlds.
