A2XT Episode 2: IT'S FINALLY TIME
Re: A2XT Episode 2: IT'S FINALLY TIME
I discovered a very minor bug (possibly)
it's nothing gamebreaking, it's just, because the music track changes when you speak to Jigma,

speaking to him during Open Mic Night triggers everything that happens if you play the jukebox during Open Mic Night, including getting the cheevo.

So we found that during testing and decided to leave it in because it's funny.Kincyr wrote: ↑9 months ago I discovered a very minor bug (possibly)

Re: A2XT Episode 2: IT'S FINALLY TIME
I come once again bearing bugs and this is a mean one too.
So this happens whenever I enter the Zebraspace world map, be it after beating the first stage or through the teleporter. Clicking ok closes the box but it pops back up instantly. Clicking cancel takes me to this fishmarket like place where I assume I can access every stage in the game
I guess Serac really doesn't want me in Zebraspace.Oh and yes I'm on the latest version.
EDIT: It seems to have fixed itself after a restart of SMBX2 itself.

Just to clarify in case it wasn't obvious: this was fixed in the recent hotfix patch.Ashuraman666 wrote: ↑8 months ago I come once again bearing bugs and this is a mean one too.

Re: A2XT Episode 2: IT'S FINALLY TIME
Okay, I have a bug for v.1.3.3. I've been following along with raocow's LP, and I've made it as far as the Skytop Observatory in the Ethereal Epoch. Every time I try to launch the game after that, though, I come across this error:
Clicking OK causes the debug screen to pop up again repeatedly, while hitting Cancel simply has me falling in a black void and dying before the process repeats itself.
From what little I could understand of the traceback, I think it might have something to do with the emails, but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated!

The hotfix for it is out but you'll need to get it through the launcher. Apologies!

Re: A2XT Episode 2: IT'S FINALLY TIME
Massive apologies for my previous post, I am a fool. Just because there weren't posts here in this thread, that didn't automatically mean it's not available through the main download page! And even if it wasn't, how the heck did I go for this long thinking you could download episode patches through the launcher???
Blargh.
In any case,
1.3.5 is out now, you can grab it here.

Re: A2XT Episode 2: IT'S FINALLY TIME
Hi, I would like thank all of the developers who made this game. This is really one of the best episodes I have ever played. It's amazing how SMBX got this far. Looking forward for the next game.
So here is the thing. I was trying to 100% the game
If I click cancel this happens: (see screenshot2)
Dying in the level puts me in an empty world map.
How could I fix this bug? I am playing on Wine if that matters. Never had any issue with other levels.

(it's somehow 107% now, is that on purpose?)
and there is only one level left for me to complete which isCeci N'est Pas Une Pipe
. After entering the pipe on that level this happens: (see screenshot1)If I click cancel this happens: (see screenshot2)

Re: A2XT Episode 2: IT'S FINALLY TIME
So this appears to be a shader issue with the background, but looking at the code I don't see how it could happen. The game is supposed to send 6 pipe colours to the shader, but for some reason your version is only expecting 5. There's nothing in the code that suggests this, and it doesn't seem to occur on any other device, so it's a hard one to debug.DreamtNeglector wrote: ↑1 month ago After entering the pipe on that level this happens: (see screenshot1)

Re: A2XT Episode 2: IT'S FINALLY TIME
Thanks for your reply. I just tried copying my install to a virtual machine and running the game on that to rule out GPU driver bugs. But the same error happened.
Could the issue be with Wine? I would like to help debug.
EDIT: The issue seems to be with Wine, running the game on a Windows virtual machine worked.

Re: A2XT Episode 2: IT'S FINALLY TIME
Huh, that's odd. Might be one for Rednaxela to look at. I know it works on Proton, as I've played the game through myself on a Steam Deck.DreamtNeglector wrote: ↑1 month ago Thanks for your reply. Re: A2XT Episode 2: IT'S FINALLY TIME
Thanks for your reply. I just tried running it with Proton and the same error occurred. Here are some details if it helps:
I am running the game on Linux Mint with Lutris on "wine-ge-8-26" and just tried adding it on Steam via "Add a Non-Steam Game" and tried both "Proton 9.0-3" and "Proton Experimental". It results on the same error.
