Do we have enough of the game complete to release a demo? Like, up through the fourth dungeon at most.

We could do just the first dungeon, because 2 is still halfway built. Or block off 2 and do 1, 3, and 4, but 4 still needs its boss. And then that's so close to being a Part 1 release that it would feel like a waste to not just release Part 1 as a whole.
It's a good idea, at any rate. Give me 'til the end of the month to see what I can put together. I have a speedrunning event to prepare for but then I'll have some time.

I think it's fine if you do an unfinished part 1 release a la Square's old samplers, FF8's demo had Rinoa in the Dollet raid of all things, and the earliest FF7 demo had like Aerith and summons(?) in the Bombing Mission. Just do your best.Nabe wrote: ↑4 months ago We could do just the first dungeon, because 2 is still halfway built. Or block off 2 and do 1, 3, and 4, but 4 still needs its boss. I'm still open to help with Zelda Classic nonsense, including scripting, I can take the time to get used to it if you give me a decent tutorial site. I'm managing pretty well with coding stuff in RPG Maker 2003's Steam version of all things, thanks to Japanese RM2k sites such as yado.tk and such, so! But messing with archived GamingW tutorials also helped a bit, Don Miguel's translation is shit tho.
I've gotten less work to do with AAT since people are trying to help out more due to me tacking a bit of a back seat thanks to mental health issues, just really have
at least one stage for a multiperson level to do (i'd like to do a few more but i wanna use a bit of custom asm), and trying to get Iris' sprites ported and eye color asm started and finished
. (just in case raocow clicks here)I can try to sneak some ZC'ing once it's mostly testing and such to be done with AAT (circa this September to December?), if you want me to mess about with some stuff.
Best of luck with the sprun, that shit's super hard but fascinating, I wish I could speedrun some RPGs, I tried doing a low level run of Star Ocean SNES using some notes and routing I found, and the menuing was destroying my ass entirely, it was terrible ;A;
