Other than the bad palettes, that first level was pretty dang cool... and it also didn't seem that easy, so now I'm curious to see what the normal path is like.
The megaman 2 opening is amazing, not going to lie. I have no idea how the sliding text worked.
The overworld looks a little bit odd, but really awesome... The graphics there are great.

I like the concept of different paths with different difficulties.

Pretty unique.

The rest hasn't convinced me yet, but that is pretty hard to do with only 1 level done.

The background of the level was the exact same as the overworld to begin with and the palettes were giving me a headache. I do like the Sonic music in the stage though

Y'know, I had sort of stopped watching for a while. I dunno why, it just got boring, but I have some pretty high hopes for this LP. I like the music, and most of the palettes look pretty nice! Some are kind of disgusting though and hurt my eyes

So yeah, I would like a download link if it's laying around. Also I haven't checked the romhack shack so chances are it's in there and I'm just stupid

It will definitely make for a unique watch then. I'm pretty excited so far. The multiple difficulty routes remind me of Star Fox 64, which is good because I'm not sure I can remember many other times people do that.

Nice first impression. The graphics were eye-jarring, though, not a fan of the palettes at all, but those won't be in every level I GUESS?

Music was great, "kick it, Zeal", hell yeah. Thanks for that. Gameplay seemed solid, and Japan was eastern without being, well, JAPAN. Am intrigued.

I'll watch this in a rather guarded fashion. I fear it will be laced with references to the touhou mythos, which I know nothing about and at this moment don't wish to learn. (Not that I outright refuse; I fear that too much would get taught at one time.)

(I don't think mythos is quite the right word, but I hope you know what I mean.)

And if he can top that one ASMT boss I coded when it comes to danmaku in the SMW engine.

Well, it seems a wee bit schizophrenic so far, what with the vanilla Mario enemies and music from a bunch of different games all thrown in with the Touhou stuff, but at the same time it does look fairly decent, and I'm sure this is going to turn out to be quite an excellent Let's Play, especially if it improves as raocow says it's going to. I am filled with cautious enthusiasm and jellybean sandwiches over this one.

Seems like an interesting hack, really looking forward to this one.

In opposition, I really hope the color palette changes soon. It literally gave me a headache. Darn that vibrant pink and strangely outlined red.

Man, this is pretty cool, and we get to hear all of raocow's silly voices for the Touhou characters again. Yay! I hope you'll put the link up after he's done...of course, I'm still having trouble with WtH. It truly lives up to his name, as that is what you're screaming at your computer the entire time.

Enough of that though, I hope there's actual...well Touhou music, because that would make it more Touhou-like. I suppose we'll see in time.
