Flame instigator is the first boss I had trouble with. I somehow managed to pull through though even though I'm certain he killed me right as I killed him...

I ended up tearing it apart when I was hunting down the last few UFOs and golden cucumbers - I managed to log the effects of nearly every line! It wouldn't be too bad of an idea to create such a commented file for this game as well. It'd probably save people some time if raocow needs another save somewhere down the line, or even for miscellaneous purposes.
I actually did that while creating the file that raocow is (probably) using to fight the boss! I've gotten almost every important stat commented out, and unimportant ones should be simple also. The event flags aren't exactly something I'm willing to take the time to do though :?

(I don't think I'll make it public though, I'm not sure how ZephyrBurst would feel about that... besides, it's pretty simple to figure out if someone wants to do it themselves.)

No new resources today. I have no idea what happened to Fefnir there... but that made him much much easier to beat again. Also, you may have a interest in going through Abstracity real quick before continuing you item your search, as it will make traveling between worlds abit simpler.

Alright, I'll bite. I don't know where to look anymore. Can I have a general clue to what I could be missing in Castlevania and Dusty Dust Land? This 'lets gather the rest of the stuff' video I was hoping to do ended up being way short on content because of fruitless searches.

All right, I'm fairly sure that I know exactly what stuff you missed. I'll post two spoilerboxes for each: one will be a vague hint, the other will be the precise location in case you get stuck.

Castlevania Town (Dark Depths)

Hint:
Somewhere in the starting room
This door mirrors mansion doom
Location:

Dusty Ruins

Hint:
In early Egypt lives your prize,
Where checkered walls deceive your eyes

Anyone else notice that raocow put out one of the torches with his water ability, during the boss fight?

All in all, that boss fight is pretty great I think. Like many said, this one teaches you to try to learn an boss's pattern and attack when there is an opening instea of just tanking hits. Also raocow you are having way too much of an easy time with that boss. Seriously, for me it was all about getting one or maybe two hits in before he can attack or dash after me. But still, pretty fun.

Also people who havn't watched the video and this might be applicable to future videos: There is a video in the suggestions there, which I think might spoil a future gameplay-thing that will happen through the thumbnail aka the preview-picture of the video. I can't be too specific of course of what that might be and I haven't gotten to that part of the game yet but if what I saw was true, then don't let yourself get spoiled. So don't scroll down when watching future video. Also, don't commentate too much about what the video spoils, to those of you who already know or got spoiled, because you might give things away even if you just want to give vague hints or references or whatever. Just don't alright? We will get to it. (Totally backseat-modding here right now by the way 8-) )

Spoiler about what I saw and other spoilery stuff, probably only safe when you either played through the game or you don't mind since I don't know how far in this is:
It's still a shame that I got spoiled that way that there will be full-on shoot-em-up happening. Especially since I got worried through the whole danmaku thing in the next Distorten area and the fact that object-sprites were taken from Touhou games. But still, I will try to keep myself as spoiler-free as I can so don't tell me more of what that part is about or anything.
Anyways, that whole Quick-Time-Event thing is pretty funny, especially when you don't expect it. I remember walking through that area after defeating that boss, talking with my little sis on the side when suddenly PRESS [X] TO NOT DIE! That is one of the best moments of the game for me, at least up to the point where I am.
Will you actually die when you press the wrong button? Knowing this game it might either kill you or go PRESS [BUTTON] TO RECOVER FROM YOUR MISTAKE if I had to guess.

There will be more and more mobility-helping abilities, so don't worry about collecting items too much. We'll tell you if you're at the point where you can get everything.

Yeah like you said a video just about getting 4 missing items would be a little small. I suggest doing Cheese garden. Like all extra levels they only consist of 2 room though they are a bit harder than your regular level!

The game doesn't even care if you press any other key. That's just a weird text box-sort of thing that forces you to use a specific key to advance it. The point of this mini-arc is that QTEs are horrible, so it makes sense that the "Press Ö not to die" things (fortunately) aren't genuine QTEs.

So yeah, the 4th extra stage:
Decided to quit after exploring it a bit, I want nothing to do with airdashing segments for a while. And those instant death spikes...

Speaking of that, how does one get the very first skill point? Grand Slam didn't do anything to the blocks under the spikes...

One more thing: I'm missing a chest in the electrical factory. GOtta be something hidden, since i looked everywhere obvious
ALso the flame instigator wasn't that bad, during his firestorm/rain attack, I was able to avoid it completely by ducking right next to him. Racked up some nice damage as well.

I don't know the name and I am not in a place where I could look it up sadly. I just saw the video in the suggestions-box after watching Raocows video and after seeing the image of that video I left that page to prevent myself from getting spoiled further. I will take a look later at the channel though. Do you need just the nickname of that guy or the complete channel name? And for what reason?

Yeah, because it could be my German LP channel. xD If it was a vid of me it would have been the channel DieHammerbrueder. On the other hand it could have been Slaix. Well, it must be one of us.

Pretty short vid today.

Anyways, some important things:
Keep in mind that you can cast an Earth Shift, stand on it and cast Zephyr. This way the Earth Shift moves across the screen. You already did that in a previous video. This way you can cross even longer/ bigger pits.
Also look around closely on the first map of Abstracity. You can easily oversee a little something. Not going to say where or what it is. Just take a close look once you get the opportunity to go back there.

I really hope to see real "progress" tomorrow. I guess you take on Cheese Garden I guess? :)

raocow, you should search Abstracity first before heading out. There's some skill points and stuff for you to get there.

But many of these things are not able to obtain until you get a new ability, wich will happen very soon!

Just the heart container. The rest he can get just using his normal jump and air dash and earth shift.

It is a bit tricky to pull off properly, but that door in Dark Depths can be accessed with a down air attack after your air dash, since it also maintains your horizontal momentum upon use. Cirno's riddles were pretty awesome, and hopefully help with that last crystal in Dusty Ruins. The heart container in Abstracity is also possible with a Earth Shift + Zephyr use, but it's another tricky jump that might be worth waiting for another upgrade, a couple videos down the road.

Please show your respect to the beautiful places with names like Ifdsgsdlgudlg and Ifsbw<illegible> and read out their names loud the next time you're on the world map. :)

Also, ZephyrBurst:
How do graze, time, leftover lives and bombs influence your Touhoutown score?

I need to go calm down somewhere. I was about to murder an innocent object before I caught myself. Why?
Distortion WTF 3 can go fuck itself. That "timed" spike wall room, chock full of tiny ass platforms and enemies that are ever so conveniently immune to Mental Insurrection...
Seriously who thought that was a good idea? Makes the Rumpy Mountains secret look like a bed of pansies.

To Octagon:
You get extra points for every live and bomb you have left after every phase on a boss. Graze is a multiplier for point items as well as the left-over bullets from bosses, just to a much smaller degree. The points you get for each live is roughly 1200, so that's fairly negligible compared to boosting your graze. Everything including bosses, will drop half of their normal point items if they take damage from a bomb, though for bosses it doesn't carry over to the next phase.
To LordAlexander: Easy way out.
Inferno or Flood.
Oh yeah, that was my idea. : P
