The name "Cheese Garden" had caused me to hope we might have an Alfred-Chicken-themed area in store for us. Alas, this was not to be our fate.

raocow, you seriously finished the Cheese Garden without dying even once. I am really amazed by that. Very, very good work man!

No new resources today again, but there is alot more to explore in Abstracity. Amazing job on Cheese Garden(was so close to writing Cheese Bridge Area there instead), I spent a good amount of deaths in the second area dealing with that second maze-ish area to keep pace with that platform, so was surprised at how easy you made it look.

That skill crystal at the beginning of the episode, I've actually seen it, but it seems to be right over Phisitan's head, is there any sign at all that it is there?

I'm not sure. I found it by randomly jumping around, as I figured SOMETHING was hidden in the smog.

Also CowRao, There's more than one screen to Abstracity. Head right, yo.

So plotwise, Abstracity is what is left of the main character's home dimension, right?

Thanks, that helped a bit. Another 50ish deaths later, I finally got past that room...

So this is the part of the game where it starts to get tricky and you actually need to learn how to play the game?

Looks like it. Though by all accounts Extra Cheese Garden was supposed to be one of 'those' levels, but at the same time I'm really dumb when a lot of enemies are present, so I think it's hard to evaluate difficulty from my videos.

raocow that was a nice video today. You just did a lot of stuff.
You can make that jump to the Spirit Orb on the 2nd map, but you need to know how to do that and the game explains later.
Also you know, you could have used Rave Mode during that elevator section which would have saved you lots of skittles.
Speaking of Skittles never ever buy any healing items at a shop (at least not for now)... it is far better to invest into equipment upgrades.

Also raocow, tomorrow's video will teach you, how to use elements properly. xD Which is a good thing btw, since the game actually requires it at an early point and thus you can adapt to it for later stages.
But I predict ragecow a lot tomorrow. Oh man...

Just realized all the video titles are written in IPA. I've been trying to learn it to improve my French pronunciation, and now I can go back through them and see what they say. raocow, the world's #1 educational LPer.

Eh, tomorrow might show some rage, it definitely counters raocow's play style, but he's shown to be a pretty competent player. Definitely wasn't expecting what happened in Cheese Garden, so hey, you never know.

And oh man, so much backseat gaming. There's so many intricacies to the game, and I think people forget that when they capslock at raocow for missing something.

So here's a fun/unfun/irrelevant thing. My roommates names are "Jerry" and "Jeremy". Yes, it's just as confusing as it sounds. We even had a friend stay with us for a few months named "Terry". That didn't help with my common mistake of saying Jeraremery or anything else to cover up that I spoke the wrong name.

There was like 4 points I would have used Rave Mode, the elevator being the last one.

You say you don't mind using items. Rave Mode is now an item. I decree it so.

Anyway, what was up with the mission control guy healing you? A random one time event?

Yes, only for that map at that point in the game. It's triggered when you get hit enough times there.
At this point, I don't remember what my mindset was or what caused me to think "Hey! This!" ... Maybe I should start commenting what I'm thinking in the code... Yeah, that's not happening.

I liked Fright Train, at least what we've seen so far. The QTE stuff is pretty funny and I liked the banter in this level.

You know, more games need funny banter like that. The only other game that immidieatly comes to my head that also had good banter during gameplay was Nier. I guess the reason why there aren't that many games with banter is because if done wrong, it can be pretty anoying (See Sonic Heroes) or another reason might be that the designers are afraid to point out mistakes or problems in their games through banter.

Also, that moment where Jeremy heals you is also kind of funny, especially since it adresses what otherwise would be a plothole: "When Jeremy can do stuff with the world*, couldn't he heal Jerry?" *=I have no idea how much he can do, but that healing bit shows that he can manipulate stuff... couldn't he also try to lower the hitpoints of a boss or something like that?

Sentinel ⑨, at your service.
It's kind of silly how these jetbikes manage to stay stationary to the train.

By the way (though I think someone pointed this out before), you can do another air dash after damaging an enemy. You could've used that to get the spirit upgrade on the Fright Train.

Those train riders are from X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse on the SNES. Man, it's been a long time since I've seen that game.

Using rave mode there didn't even cross my mind. The only time I ever end up using it is on accident. Maybe that'll help me get unstuck since I can stand still and not accidentally dash off the platform constantly...

You did pretty well on the boss raocow.
When he casts his flood you could have casted Earth Shift and stand on the rock.

Well, why didn't you take the portal at the end? After all it was the end of the stage.

One thing this game loves doing is forcing you to use your new jumping ability, the moment you get your new jumping ability. The next few areas will be requiring a lot of dash jump + blast off casts, so be careful of your mana and fire juice while using it.
