Because these are pretty much just random odds and ends that aren't that important and I'd feel like kind of dick since I've been neglecting my channel for a long-ass time now for wont of something interesting to upload, and people'd be pretty pissed to see some 30 second demo from a YI hack when it finally got around I'd put something new up. In hindsight I really should've just dummied a channel or uploaded the videos privately, but this is the first time I've come across trouble sharing videos from DM.
But droning on about this is so far removed from the point of this thread I'll leave it there.

Not sure how far you've already gotten in the next level, and I'm absolutely positive it's going to be a two-parter, but the rules of thumb are: always take the full four large eggs possible whenever you come to a source, except in the very last set of twin doors, where you should take two large and four normal and work with it. Or, as a trade-off, take more but be absolutely certain you have at least four normal eggs before dropping down to the red switches. Also, keep in mind enemies are only tracked by the game when close enough to 'on-screen', and bubbles will invariably bounce you upward regardless of where you contact them from. Finally, don't forget red switches respawn, and this includes ones you've already stomped. You can keep refreshing one if you want to micro-manage parts of a path. Good luck!

Yeah, 6-3 is a very long level for being a normal one, 6-4 is very long as well. But, don't worry, 6-5 is only medium-size =P

Ah, that reminds me, this is something I'd wanted to puzzle out for myself for awhile anyway, and it might be useful to you depending on how much of 6-3 you've tackled and how stuck you end up getting in the latter half. This is a (to the best of my routing, at least) streamlined run through 6-3, collecting 100%. I suppose Yoshis Fan can attest to its brevity if he's got the time and interest to watch, but I think it's about as short a distance as can be traveled.
Obviously, this isn't something to watch unless you've already beaten 6-3, or are completely stumped on a part. I'm not be doing this for every stage to tempt like a complete spoilsport, but this one is a bit of a nonlinear nightmare so I thought it'd be fun. There are some individual puzzles in upcoming stages that would benefit you to have the option of seeing, but I think Yoshis Fan can forgive a bit of preview as long as it's clearly marked without kicking up too strong a fuß. (Sorry.)

Basically, the aim is: limiting the amount of Giant Eggs to 3.
There are three ways to achieve this and I guess the least complicated way is the best for everyone.
Most Complicated: Make an ASM-Hack, so Fat Guys do not generate Giant Eggs in case Yoshi already has 3 of them. I can't make one myself and it's unlikely anyone is willing to make one for me anytime soon.
Less Complicated: Add a kill-room, which spawns a door and force the player to use the 4th egg, in case he has one. This involves disabling items for the whole stage, since POW or ?-Cloud items can break this.
Least Complicated: In the room with the two Fat Guys, remove one of them. It is not 100% safe, it's 99% safe, since one can "import" Giant Eggs from former rooms and get hit by the obstacles instead of using them to destroy the obstacles.

Why cripple a player with the first two options over something cosmetic? It doesn't affect completing the stage at all. Also, I went out of my way to bring four big eggs over for kicks. No one else is gonna bother doing that.
At any rate, if it's that important the third choice is the obvious go-to. Someone would have to be incensed to force the 1% option.

Yoshis Fan, if I've got your blessing for it, I'd done up a streamlined expose of 6-S (akin to the one I did for 6-3) for another forum recently. It was for personal reasons as much as anything because I really wanted to conquer the level in an unbroken manner, which took... ages and ages. When that stage finally hits the boilerplate, and all's said and done, do you mind if I shared it here too?
That's likely a ways off, though.
