I miss the senseless castle destruction. D= raocow seemed to be thrown off by it, too. Huh, oh well... I can still look forward to World 6. From the spoilers, sounds like it'll be... interesting, to say the least.

It has. It's been recorded already, and we'll see it in tomorrow's video(s). At least, that's the hint the spoilers give me.

I like how occasionally the score, coins, etc. displays get drawn BEHIND things like pipes.

This is a very polished game with a very polished engine you see.

World 6 makes up for world 5 not having a castle.:)

I'm guessing the rotodiscs are the cause of all this.

Oh man! A castle getting sucked down a pipe.......how strange. Also, I'm looking forward to the water world, because everybody hates water in Mario games :D

horray, the castle (exists this time and) has some unexpected and grand destruction.

wonder where it warped to.

still, the maze is too annoying to handle. at least put subtile hints somewhere.

My best guess is world 5. But we'll never know since raocow will never return there.

After watching the videos today, I see that I'm not the only one who's a fan of pokecapn's huge group marathon Sonic playthroughs. Sonic Unleashed design indeed. Just be glad it didn't go the Sonic 2006 route (although there's still time for that in the last world, I suppose)

To be fair, putting a 1-up anywhere in a Mario game is basically equivalent to "you have unlimited tries in this level if you can get this far," and some of the stages of the original games had them pretty early.

You mean like Mario starts break-dancing poorly whenever he hits a wall?

Anyways, it's a good thing that life was there, 'cause having to redo that maze...Even with the solution, it doesn't really look that fun.

How can anyone (besides raocow) be even marginally entertained by this game? (while actually playing it)

same can be said with MariAri.
if any of us play it, we can quit and come back to it some other time, while raocow has to make some kind of progress for us to watch, even if it takes hours of doing the same level over and over.
gets tiring after awhile, so his break on it is really worthwhile.

That pipe must've had some pretty strong suction to take in a whole castle. To be honest, I thought "Ghostbusters!" when I saw that. That pipe maze looked torturous, though... Really, the 1-up at the start of the castle was a godsend. I hope World 7's entertaining, despite being a water world. At least we know it has a castle. ;)

Haha, man these fan game videos make raocow really funny, because there are some really random things in fangames.

Like the shining coral.

Or

DOING IT BEAR STYLE!

And also, how world 5 didn't end with a castle. "Huh." Pretty much describes episode 6.5.

Luckily 7 is a lot..a LOT more forgiving. I'm sure raocow enjoyed them more. 8 is unforgiving though. I need to get to beating that one, but 8-3 is giving me trouble. Good luck.

Well, world seven actually looked kinda easy for once  I look forward to seeing world 8 and all it's happenstances. Also, that pododoboo shower was extremely weird (but not as weird as.....you know)

I'm a little behind on my raocow - but from the looks of World 6, the game has a few issues with hit detection inside pipes :/

I nominate calling the flower rotodisks "Disco Spirographs." Even though there's probably only two more of them left to see in the game.

that only depends if raocow reads this post himself, then he wont be caught off guard as much when seeing it.

way to be a killjoy vallren. could you not just wait until he freaking got there?!!

hope to god he doesn't read this, or you'll be responsible for ruining what would be the best part of the entire LP!

I was careful with what I read, but let it be known that typically there is a one day delay between videos (so, like, what is uploaded tomorrow morning, I recorded this morning, etc)
